Magnets have been used for 1000's of years in healing in many cultures. The magnets pull the iron in your blood and increase circulation to all parts of the body. People with pace makers should not use magnetic jewelry. I started using magnetic jewelry when I developed carpal tunnel in my hands

Pattern for 2 strand Magnetic Bracelet

19d9_1_sbl

Step 1: Use 1st string or thread (I like Fishing line) and Knot one end and slide it through hole of clasp on wider side (see photo) also instructions below for knotting clasps. Step 2: Strand that side of bracelet using our new spacers and any desired bead this one is all Hematite. Step 3: Repeat above Directions for strand 2 Step 4: Ending Please make sure you have pulled Knots into wide side cavity tight before finishing. String clasp on opposite end by stringing through the small side hole of clasp. At this point you can knot the end you can use a metal pick to slide knot over (see photo). With practice you can get the knot in the hole. Or check out the article on knotting magnetic clasps for fool proof ways of tight strong knots,

TECHNIQUES FOR FOOL PROOF KNOTTING OF MAGNETIC CLASPS

WORKING WITH STRING OR THREAD /Note:make sure that you can run 2 threads threw all the beads you are working with for your project.  Step1: double strand your needle and make a large knot on end of string by knotting over and over the knot till it is big enough not to slip through the smaller hole in clasp. Step 2: run needle through larger hole side of clasp then tread on your beads. Note: allowing the ½ clasp that you already have on rest on a piece of metal (I use a soup can) gives you allot more control over your beading,  STEP 3: Thread through small hole side of the other ½ clasp and check diagram below as you read the rest.Step 4: make a ½ knot like you were beginning to tie your shoelace pull tight Step 5: lay a few loose threads over the clasp and tie another ½ knot. Step 6: Divide up your loose threads with your original threads
and tie a few strong knots (this creates the bulk knot that you need so it will not slip back through the small opening).
Step 7: trim loose ends below surface of clasp and glue carefully so all glue stays below surface of clasp sometimes a tooth pick helps. (Give glue 24 hours to dry even if package says 1 hour)
Note:
a good knot always include glue to keep threads from
fraying.

Stringing beads with 10 or 20 lb Fishing Line /Note: I recommend this when working with heavy beads or magnetic beads and double strand clasps the stiffness gives a bracelet stability. Step 1: Use 2 strands together and knot end - feed through large hole in clasp and have fun beading Step 2: make a ½ knot like you were beginning to tie your shoe lace pull tight then repeat to knot over.Step 3: BEFORE GLUEING AND NO WERE NEAR THE GLUE Trim ends You can take your bracelet outside and with a lighter make a very fast pass of the flame over the knot (you
may want to practice this on some test strings so you know how fast to do this.) As soon as it cools apply some glue over the knot (Give glue 24 hours to dry even if package says 1
hour)

2 STRAND CLASPS (you can use both tecqniques above or) 20lb fishing line Technique this is the one I use the most. Step1: single strand of 20lb fishing line tie a knot than double over that knot to crate bulk and repeat for 2nd strand pull into large hole side of clasp. then bead on.. Now feed fishing line through small hole side of 2nd piece of clasp. Step 2: Take a separate piece of fishing line if you have 10 lb use it but 20 will work. Give it a little bend to make it look like a big staple and feed it from the back of the untied clasp. see right, Now you can knot and finish just like in technique 2 after your clasp has dried for 24 hours you can carefully trim off the back of your fishing line staple.
