Welcome to Rosan's Beads and Crystals. I have some of the finest Lampwork Novelty beads on eBay. I specialize in cats, dogs, penguins and gorgeous lentil beads. I also carry turquoise, citrine, jade and other fine gemstone beads. I have Swarovski prisms and statues of Buddha, Kwan Yin and Anubis.
Many of my Beads, Crystals and Statues have FREE shipping during this holiday season. Inside the item you may find $1.75 or $1.95 for shipping, but the main title is marked FREE. This is because I have to change each listing manually and haven't gotten to them all. If there are shipping charges they will show at the top of the listing and on the search. Some items are very heavy and I cannot absorb all the shipping. Thanks for looking at my items and HAPPY SHOPPING.

Carved Bone from China.  A tremendous amount of carved bone beads and pendants are created in China.  The most commonly used bone comes from the Ox or Water Buffalo.  The Chinese like to soak the bone in a variety of solutions to "age" the bone so that the beads and pendants appear much older than they are.  Sometimes the aged bone has a smoky odor from the aging process.  You can soak the bone in a vanilla solution to remove this odor.  Almost all of the items created are solid bone and carved from one piece of bone and not pieced together.  This photograph is of individually handcarved kitty cat head beads which you will find in my
These large white bone rondelle discs where created in India.  The most common bone used is from the cow.  There is also a lot of camel bone.  When the beads are large like in this photograph, it takes a lot of bone because of the size of each piece.  Much of the white bone beads are created in India.  The beads are very consistant coming from India.  Something to remember when purchasing bone beads, is the fact that bone has natural inclusions and striations created from the textures in bone.  This adds to the beauty of the bone.  There is a beautiful tribal and ethnic look created when using bone in jewelry.  This photograph is of very large rondelle beads from India which you can find in my
