| If there is one item that Rustmonger Vintage Tooling and More has in quantity, (and will be listing more of soon) it's Shoulder Bolts (also known as Shoulder Screws). Check back often as Moon is working her way through boxes of these useful parts.
These Shoulder Bolts are vintage, most of what we are listing have never been used and are in new condition (but pretty dirty, as this and most of our perishable tooling came from a tool and die manufacturing facility in Chicago. We describe to the very best of our ability condition and dimensions, but you should look at the picture and bid as-is).
Facts: Shoulder Bolts are also known as Shoulder Screws or Stripper Bolts. They are used in sliding or rotating applications: for example punch work, as a bearing pin, or in pulley shafts.
The "shoulder" description comes from the unthreaded shoulder under the head, which diameter is the first measurement in the description. The length of this unthreaded shoulder is the second. Threading is standard for the diameter. We have given the McMaster-Carr part number most similar to the part, in most cases, for your further reference. Pricing for these vintage items is very reasonable. |
