Established in 1946 to promote interest in genealogy and family history, the San Diego Genealogical Society (SDGS), a public benefit non-profit corporation, has dedicated itself to this purpose by
· assisting members and the public with their genealogical research,
· providing educational and research opportunities for genealogy and family history researchers,
