Shipping & Handling Terms
  • Shipping and handling will be paid by purchaser unless the item states free shipping. Shipping is either fixed or is calculated by the eBay shipping calculator. We charge the actual shipping rates with a small handling charge. We really don't like to be over-charged for shipping and we will not overcharge our customers.
  • We use Auctiva Checkout to ensure accurate and timely processing and tracking of your order. Therefore, when you checkout, you will be redirected to our eBay certified provider site to complete your transaction. This ensures that we have the correct information for your shipment and order.
  • We will combine items and reduce the shipping costs for multiple items won by the same buyer if possible. On certain heavier items or fixed shipping items, combined shipping is not offered. Combined shipping is only offered if the multiple auctions close within 3 days of each other. All freight, shipping, handling and insurance are non-refundable.
  • In most cases the eBay shipping calculator is accurate; however we reserve the right to change the shipping carrier to accommodate getting you the item quickly and at the best rate. If we discover a significant price difference than what was paid we will email you immediately. At our discretion we will use the USPS for smaller light-weight items.
  • We use proper packing materials for all items; however we do offer optional insurance for all packages and highly recommend that you purchase insurance. If you choose to not purchase the insurance and your item is lost or damaged by the carrier, we will not be held responsible.
  • All shipments are tracked and most require a signature.
  • We will email you the tracking number or mailing confirmation number when the item is shipped.
  • We normally process and ship in a timely manner, approximately 1-3 days after the auction closes and your payment clears. Remember that certain Paypal transactions can delay shipping the item for payment clearance.
  • If you require faster expedited shipping, please select a higher level of shipping during check-out. We will prioritize all expedited shipping.
  • If paying with Paypal for big ticket items we will only ship to confirmed addresses.
  • Item Availability: When we post our auctions, the items are in stock, and should generally be available for immediate shipping. When we post our auctions, we have enough in stock to meet demand. If, for some reason stock happens to be out when you pay for your auction, the item will usually be shipped within 7 business days. You will be given the option to receive a full and immediate refund if this is not the case.


International Winners
  • In most cases the eBay shipping calculator is able to calculate your shipping, however, if you need a quote please email us. We will e-mail you back within 1 business day to let you know what your total amount would be.
  • Shipping international will be by the US Mail in most cases. All shipping must be prepaid. The buyer is responsible for any taxes and duties.
  • Due to insurance restrictions, NO SHIPPING TO: Abkhazia, Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola (including Cabinda), Bangladesh, Belarus, Bulgaria, Burma, Burundi, Chechnia, China, Congo, Cuba, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gaza, Georgia, Guinea-Bissau, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Liberia, Libya, Moldova, Nigeria, North Korea, OFAC Restricted countries, Paraguay, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Togo, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Yemen, Zaire, and Zimbabwe.

  • Please use our Auctiva check-out system. Either click on our checkout button or wait for our end-of-auction email.
  • Payment by credit card using PayPal is preferred.
  • If you are new to PayPal and are setting up an account for the first time, please email us if that process will delay your payment.
  • International bidders must pay with PayPal using a verified address or with a wire transfer. We will not ship to third parties.
  • We also accept AMEX, Discover, Visa and Mastercard directly. Please call us at 800-399-4605 during normal business hours to make payment or simply use the secure Auctiva checkout system.
  • Bidders in the State of Florida must pay 7% state sales tax on the total excluding shipping.
  • At end of auction contact needs to be made within 3 business days of close. PLEASE COMMUNICATE! Many issues can simply be resolved by discussing the issue. If you have any questions please be sure to ask before you bid.
  • All payments must be received within 7 days following the end of auction. Immediate payment items need to be paid at the time of purchase. If you are not able to send your payment within 7 days of the close of auction, please do not bid.
  • If payment is not received within 10 days, item will be relisted and credit will be requested from Ebay and appropriate feedback will be posted. We also automatically ban all non-payers from future auctions.
PLEASE HONOR YOUR BID! DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU INTEND TO COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN REPORTING NON PAYING PARTY TO EBAY AND NEGATIVE FEEDBACK WILL RESULT. STENOTECH RESERVES THE RIGHT NOT TO SELL TO PARTIES WITH A NEGATIVE FEEDBACK RATING!


Warranties and Condition

Warranty Terms

  • Unless specifically mentioned in the above description of the product, ALL OF OUR ITEMS ARE 'SOLD AS IS'. What that means is there are no guarantees or warranty. We do not warrant for the manufacturer, nor do we warrant against the application for the product.
  • Many of our new items include a manufacturer’s warranty.
  • Cosmetic blemishes may be experienced. Cosmetic irregularities should in no way affect the performance of the product.
  • All items have been accurately described to the best of my ability. Items are in the condition described. We try to be as explicit and descriptive with the pictures that we take of the auctioned items. If you do not see any manuals, software or cables in the picture, please assume that it does not come with it.
  • We stand behind the quality of the products we sell. Most of our products state either “guaranteed”, “non-DOA” or come with a 30 day or 1 year warranty. Please read the description.

  • FEEDBACK POLICY - We leave positive feedback as quickly as possible for every single positive transaction! We typically leave feedback after receiving it from our buyers because we know at that point that we have completed our responsibilities to our customers and that they are satisfied.
  • Our feedback system is automated. Positive feedback will be automatically issued upon receiving positive feedback from buyers. Please remember to post positive feedback upon completion of the transaction.
  • If you are not happy with the item or service please contact us and we will attempt to resolve whatever the issue is. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK FOR ISSUES THAT CAN BE RESOLVED. Anything can be resolved. We would appreciate a chance to make you a happy customer.

Returns & Exchanges

Return Policies

  • Products sold "as is" are not covered by this return policy. Credit will not be issued in such cases unless the item is significantly different than described.
  • All of our products that have a No DOA or extended warranty are returnable within 7 days of receiving the defective product.
  • Products returned in other than original condition will be subject to a 15% minimum restocking fee. Exchanges are made on all items that are 1) DOA (dead on arrival) or 2) significantly different from its description on the auction page.
  • Please e-mail us BEFORE you send your return to receive an RMA number from us. Once an RMA has been granted, be sure to include a description of the problem and the eBay item number with the return package.
  • Please allow 1 week to test the returned merchandise. If the item is DOA, we will replace it at no cost to the buyer or a full credit will be issued. Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility. If our tests confirm the item's working functionality, refund will not be issued and buyer pays for returning the merchandise.
  • In some occasions we accept returned merchandise with a 20% restocking fee. Returned items should be in the same condition and packaging as it was sent. None of the shipping charges will be credited in such cases.
