60 Day Guarantee
Standard on most parts purchases. No labor costs will be included.
Guarantee Limitations
The buyer hereby acknowledges that due to the nature of used auto parts, any liability of Stricker Auto Parts from all causes shall be limited to the price paid for the item(s) sold or provided. If a part sold by Stricker Auto Parts with this guarantee, fails to operate during the 60 day period, liability shall be limited to the replacement of the part or a remedy not to exceed the price paid for the part, at Stricker Auto Parts option. Our 60 Day Guarantee is not available for international customers.
AC Compressor:
There is no 60 Day Guarantee on the item unless a professional technician installs the compressor. If a professional technician performs the installation and buyer provides proof of work done, Stricker Auto Parts will guarantee the compressor for 60 days from the confirmed delivery date. In order for the 60 Day Guarantee to be valid, you must replace the Accumulator/Drier and Orifice tube or filter when replacing the AC Compressor. The system must also be flushed prior to installation and Vacuum Checked for leaks after installation.
Engine:
Stricker Auto Parts 60 Day Guarantee for engines is limited to manufacturing defects in the block, heads, pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, rockers, and oil pumps. All other parts that may be provided are "Accessories and/or Extra Parts". No guarantee is provided for any such parts that are attached, including parts such as Switches, Sensors, Cables, Electronics, Belts, Hoses, Water Pumps, AC Compressors, Alternators, Starters, and Manifolds. 60 Day Guarantee is void if heat tabs are melted or removed.
Transmission:
There is no 60 Day Guarantee on transmission failures caused by gaskets, seals, or electronics. A transmission must have filters installed and be serviced to factory specification, the same as if it was a new unit. Proof of proper installation will be requested if there is a transmission failure. Failure to properly service, flush and flow test the system on your vehicle will void your warranty. Please follow the current procedures specified by the OEM installer. Transmission electronics are considered "Accessories and/or Extra Parts" and are not guaranteed.
Conditions that Void 60 Day Guarantee
60 Day Guarantee is null and void if:
- The vehicle is converted from a private passenger to commercial or fleet use, or is used for racing or other competition or off-road recreational purposes.
- Failure is caused by abuse, misuse, or modifications.
- Improper installation or handling.
- Dismantling of part(s) for any reason without permission of Stricker Auto Parts.
- Failure is caused by using the part for any use other than what was intended or recommended by the manufacturer.
- The part fails or becomes defective due to the vehicle being involved in a collision.
- The part is installed or operated outside the United States.
- The installed heat tab center is melted or removed.
- The part is sold "As Is" as indicated on the front of invoice or in a listing’s terms.
- 60 Day Guarantee only applies to the purchaser shown on the invoice.
Labor and Installation
Stricker Auto Parts is not responsible for injury or damage during or as a result of the installation of our parts. Timing belts, thermostats, spark plugs, fluids and seals are routine maintenance items and should be replaced at the time of installation.
To maintain the 60 Day Guarantee, any "Recommended Installation Procedures" provided by Stricker Auto Parts must be followed by the installer. This guarantee does not cover freight costs or similar charges.
Additional Important Information
The obligations of the guarantee are limited to replacement or refund only as provided herein. Implied guarantees of merchantability or fitness for a particular use are limited to the same duration as the limited written guarantee provided herein. Stricker Auto Parts shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages included but not limited to installation, removal or use of this merchandise. At no time will refund exceed purchase price. Other extended warranties are available but must be purchased in addition to the part. 60 Day Guarantee is void if heat tabs are melted or removed. This is the only guarantee given by Stricker Auto Parts. Stricker Auto Parts 60 Day Guarantee may be amended or added to at any time. Changes in the guarantee will be posted on this site.
By submitting a bid to purchase a part from us or accepting delivery of a part purchased from us, the buyer accepts and agrees to all of the terms above.
