Muffin Tin Countdown Calendar by the Cat's Pajamas

This is really easy to make and alot of fun you would fill the muffin cups with treats or poems ect...

Items you will need:

Foam Mounting Tape, Heavy duty adhesive, 1-24 stamps and black ink, Rhinestones, 1 yd Ribbon, Circle Punch, White Cardstock, Green Cardstock, Red Cardstock, 2 Patterned Cardstock, 2 8.5x11 sheets of magnet paper, 24 cup mini muffin pan not aluminum the cheapest ones I have found were target and walmart, Felt Shapes. A die approx 1 1/4x1 3/4 shape they are using spellbinders labels two the fifth largest die but any die shape which fits on the squares will work. If you want to cut holes in the top to hang your calendar you will need the big bite cropadile and 1 yd ribbon.

The felt shapes are so neat, you can also use stamps and color them cut out and attach them. This is such a easy project and can be done so many ways.  contact me if you have any questions

There is so much you can do with this use stamps and cut out shapes for embellishments more felt pieces ect.. just remember to not make the pieces so heavy that they would cause the pieces to slide off the muffin tin.

1- Attach the Green Paper to the magnet sheet and trim out the extra paper. Cut the magnet sheet into 12-2.25x2.25 squares.

2-Using the 1.25" circle punch, punch out 12 circles from the excess non magnet cardstock

3- Repeat steps one and two with red cardstock then arrange on the tin in an alternating pattern with the green cardstock.

4-Cut 12 shapes from patterned paper and attach with foam mounting tape to the top of alternating magnet shapes.

5-Repeat step 4 with the second patterned paper.

6-Punch 24 circles from the white cardstock using the 1" circle punch. Stamp the numbers 1-24 with black ink on each circle.

7-Cut off eyelets on felt shapes and adhere randomly to the tops of the patterned paper.

8-Mount the numbers on top of the colored circles and attach with foam tape to the top of the magnetic squares.

9-Embellish with rhinestones. Go to town decorating.

10-Use the Cropadile and punch holes in the backside top of the tin. Thread the ribbon through and hang.

11-Fill with candy, small toy, poem ect...
