We are sure you will agree that our engraving is very reasonably priced, and we want to keep it that way, but we need your help. Please help us better serve you by following a few simple guidelines to help streamline this process.
Please submit your engraving information with your payment. We lose precious time emailing people repeatedly for this information.
Check your spelling! Many leagues, organizations and names have unusual spelling, and we have no way of knowing what is correct, so please make sure it is right!
Please do not include quotation marks and other punctuation if you do not want them. Please help us eliminate the guesswork by being as precise as possible.
Please ask if we can meet your deadline prior to purchase! We will work very hard to meet your deadline or event date, but engraving takes time, as does shipping. Please allow for it!
Frequently Asked Questions about Engraving
Most plates can accept 60 characters, in three lines, with no more than 20 characters to a line. Remember, the more engraving, the smaller the text. Plates with more than 60 characters are subject to an additional charge of 12 cents a letter.
- Can I engrave whatever text I want?
Yes. You specify the text. None of our sculptures or trophies come with a pre-engraved plate.
- How do I order and pay for engraving?
At this time, we do not have a shopping cart to order additional services. If you are using paypal, you can add the engraving fee under "seller services/discounts" and enter your engraving information in the "message" window. If you are mailing your payment, you can add the engraving charge to your total. If you are unsure about the fee, please email prior to sending your payment.
- How do I send you the engraving information?
Email works best, and long text should be broken into several lines, for example:
- Recipient's Name
- Event Name or Location
- Year and Title
- Can I request certain styles and fonts?
Yes, but it may cost more, as the work involved in creating a custom plate takes time. You can however, at no additional cost request Caps, italics, one line being larger, etc. We will do our best to select a font style that is appropriate and has a clean, professional presentation.

Can you call me to discuss my engraving?
Engraving questions are best answered in written form such as email. All engraving orders must be submitted in writing, to avoid mistakes in spelling and layout, no engraving information will be taken over the phone.

Yes. All of our perpetual trophies include a free title plate which can have your league name, the type of league you are in, and a descriptive term for the trophy, ie CHAMPIONS.
- What is laser engraving? Do I need to include the additional $10.00?
Laser engraving is for leagues and organizations that have a logo they want reproduced and incorporated into their title plate. Standard engraving is great for most leagues. The $10.00 is an art charge to digitize the logo for the laser.
Artwork needs to be "camera ready" black and white, with a dpi of 300 or greater. Files can be .tiff, jpeg, Corel Draw 10 or below, Illustrator 9 or below. If your file is not suitable, we can correct it for laser engraving, additional charges apply.
- How much is it to get past winners engraved, and how much can I fit on the plate?
Past winners can be engraved for $3.00 a plate for 2 lines and $5.00 a plate for 3 lines. The detail plates are not very large, they are best suited for a year, team name and score. 60 characters max on a 3 line plate.
- Where do I specify I want detail plates and extra engraving?
At this time, we do not have a shopping cart where you can order these services. You can, however, add the upgrade charges in Paypal under "seller services/discounts" located near the shipping tab. You can also "request a total from the seller" letting us know what you want, and we will send you an invoice that includes any upgrade charges.
