We do NOT believe in excessive shipping charges - as buyers, we don't like paying them ourselves :) (We buy on Ebay too! As sellers we are well aware of when another seller is overcharging for shipping and we rarely do business with those sellers.) Due to this, we refund any excessive overcharges back to your Paypal account after the item is shipped if we have made a gross error in shipping fees.

We try and keep our shipping charges as low as possible. We always ship with delivery confirmation/tracking for both your protection and ours and that charge is included in the posted shipping charge. (.65)We ship by USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope 99% of the time, and then go up to the Priority Mail Flat Rate Boxes for items that will not fit into a flat rate envelope. This allows us to estimate our shipping charges fairly accurately resulting in shipping charges that generally fall within up to $1 of actual shipping costs. For instance: the shipping charge for a flat rate envelope is $4.80 + delivery confirmation $.65 which is a total of $5.45. We charge $5.50. That makes it easy for everyone, however, oftentimes shipping charges for items that will not fit into flat rate envelopes and are too small for a $10.35 flat rate shipping box have to be estimated. Many times we estimate this around $7.00 - $8.00 and due to the weight of the fabric or the item, shipping actually ends up around $9.00 - which means our organization is paying the difference. Therefore, to be fair, we try to keep all shipping charges within $1 of actual costs by rounding up to the nearest dollar, i.e. a $6.50 charge to $7.00.

COMBINED SHIPPING: Many times we can combine your shipping into one invoice and package for approx. an additional $1 - $1.50 per each item. This does not include heavy thick robes or heavier items, although we will combine those too. We have to weigh the package with those items in it before we can arrive at the actual shipping costs. Combined Shipping is the highest shipping charge first, and then we estimate $1.00 - $1.50 per each additional item. When you are finished shopping, let us know, and we will box your items and weigh the package to be able to estimate your combined shipping within $1 of actual charges. If we can squeeze an additional item in without raising the actual shipping costs, then we charge a $1 per additional item fee to help offset our ebay fees. This usually only happens if we can fit one more nightgown into a flat rate envelope with another nightgown or peignoir set. It's easier for us to round up and do it this way- and hey, feel good- those pennies are for a good cause ;)

*****INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING*****

We are pleased to offer International (Worldwide) Shipping to our international friends. Paypal has certain requirements to protect both the Buyer and the Seller which cannot always be met due to customs rules and regulations depending on the country in which you reside. International Shipping is not without certain challenges and can require a lot of time to resolve issues that may develop. Due to this, depending on the country to which the item may be delivered and the likelihood of delivery issues developing, a handling charge for international shipments of up to $3.00 USD may be included in your listed shipping price.

 USPS has just raised postage/shipping prices. We ship Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope and Priority Mail International - depending on insurance needs and if it fits in the flat rate envelope. WE DO NOT SHIP FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL MAIL since it cannot be shipped through Paypal. A Single Item will usually fit in a flat rate envelope and shipped to MOST International places, your shipping charge would be $12.50 USD. A Gown and Robe SET made of nylon that doesn't have a large sweep will also usually ship together in a flat rate envelope and your shipping charge would still be $12.50 USD TOTAL providing they sold as a set. If your item does not fit in a Flat Rate Envelope it will be shipped Priority Mail International based on weight and the handling charges as listed on this page. In some instances we may estimate shipping charges on combined orders or large items. Any shipping overages are refunded back to your Paypal account at the time your item is shipped.

Please remember that the steps we take are to protect both of us - according to Paypals Buyer & Seller Protection rules. We are not looking to "make money" on shipping charges and we are attempting to ship in the least expensive acceptable way possible. All shipments are shipped within 7 days of receipt of payment - per Paypals rules - however our normal turnaround time for shipping is 24-48 hours after your payment. We take pride in our fast shipping HOWEVER International shipping times can easily be 10 - 14 days AND customs can hold it for up to 30 days.

Items sent Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope are not insurable and completely at your own risk as we are not responsible once your item is given to the shipper or for lost packages. We do combine shipping on international packages. Combined shipping rates for international bidders are approx. $5 per additional item but please "contact seller" through ebay messages to get a rate quote before bidding for combined shipping.  Combined invoices for international shipment cannot total more than $200 to prevent additional shipping costs for signed deliveries as required by Paypal.
