Shuttle recertified systems have been professionally inspected and tested for functionality. All recertified systems are guaranteed to worked like it is brand new and include all the accessories you would find in a brand new system. They also include a 30-day warranty period from the date on the invoice.
Recertified systems are generally perceived as inferior to their brand new counterparts. This couldn't be further from the truth. All recertified systems run as if they are brand new. Shuttle adheres strictly to the highest quality standard and therefore, most of the time, minor cosmetic damages (i.e. light scratches, dents, etc.) prevent us from selling them as brand new products, even though all the internal components are fully functional and undamaged. Other times, minor parts such as a USB port, a LED light, or a power switch doesn't function and is easily replaced with a brand new part, but since something has been replaced, we sell the XPC system as "Recertified" at a discounted price. Since the problems are either very minor in nature or completely cosmetic, our "Recertified" systems are perfect for customers who want a fully functional XPC at a great price.
