Please be patient with us for the next couple of months, we will be operating shorthanded, as we continue dealing with my husband's injuries (he blacked out and fell thru the glass shower and hit his face). When you have a two person business and one person is injured and has to be driven to a dozen doctors & dentists appointments in the last 3 weeks it causes delays in answering emails, shipping, ordering, etc... UPDATE: The doctors have finally decided his jaw won’t need to be wired shut because of the fractures, but he has to be on a soft food diet for a few more weeks. He has gotten a couple of hearts tests done, but he has a couple more to do and they want him to see a neurologist as well since he still is having bouts of feeling light headed. He has to wait a couple more weeks for the dental work to be started, the dentist didn't want to remove the broken teeth and start repairs until the doctors figure out what they want to do with his jaw, in the mean time he sounds like Sylvester the Cat when he talks. His hands were both swollen, he must have tried to stop his fall, and the doctors didn’t seem concerned, they just kept saying put ice on them. Three weeks later one is still swollen so we are worried that it may have been fractured as well, so need to get an x-ray on it. This apparently is going to be an ongoing saga for weeks. I hope the events in January aren’t what we can expect for the rest of 2010. Thank you to everyone who has written and sent their prayers, concern and advice.
