SmartHomeUSA.com's eBay Return Policy
If you have issues or concerns with items you've purchased, please take advantage of our free & friendly technical support staff by calling 631-361-8609 or emailing tech@smarthomeusa.com. We solve problems quickly and for free!
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you may return your items in their original condition within 7 days of purchase for an exchange or refund.
- Returns for refund must be requested within 7 days of purchase.
- Defective items covered under the manufacturer's warranty will be repaired or replaced. Manufacturer's warranty is usually 1-2 years after purchase; please email to verify.
- All clearance sales are final, unless the product is defective.
- Due to copyright restrictions, books, manuals, and software may not be returned unless the product is defective.
TO MAKE ANY RETURN, you must first obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. To do so, please call 631-361-3600 Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, or email ebay@smarthomeusa.com.
Please note:
- A minimum 15% restocking fee will be imposed on any item not
returned in the original condition it was received. This includes lost or
damaged packaging, manuals, accessories or wiring.
- Any costs incurred while shipping returns are the purchaser's
responsibility.
- The return authorization number must appear on all packages and
paperwork in connection with the return or your shipment may be refused.
- You may opt to temporarily pay for an advanced replacement of a defective
item. We will refund that cost as soon as
the defective item is received.
- Credit card purchases can be refunded to the original credit card
number only. Purchases made with checks, cash or money orders will be refunded by
check. PayPal purchases will be refunded via PayPal to the purchaser's account.
Please allow 2 - 3 weeks for processing of all refunds.
- Issuance of a return authorization does not bind the SmartHomeUSA
to accept the return. Final decision shall be made after SmartHomeUSA has
inspected the returned product.
- Products no longer part of our current product line must be
returned to the original manufacturer for warranty replacement or repair.
- In no event will SmartHomeUSA be liable for any special,
incidental, indirect or consequential damages whatsoever arising out of the
inability to use the product.
