Is mineral makeup hard to apply? No. Just dip your applicator into your minerals, twirl into the lid to work the minerals into your brush, tap to release excess powder, then apply. Start down the center of your face, cheeks, chin then around the face. Apply in layers. If more coverage is needed after the first application, apply a light second layer. Concealers can also be used as foundation if extra coverage is needed.

Will your makeup make my face break out? No. Our makeup actually heals as it conceals. The ingredients we use have natural anti-inflammatory properties. The ingredient that causes irritation and breakouts in some mineral makeup is bismuth oxychloride. We do not use bismuth oxychloride in any of our makeup.

Will Smoky Mountain Minerals makeup hide my lines and wrinkles? Yes! Our specially processed sericite has reflective properties that reflect light away from lines and wrinkles. Many sellers use a completely matte sericite which settles into lines and wrinkles that accentuate them. Ours give you a flawless airbrushed look every time.

Does your makeup have spf protection? Yes. Our foundations and concealers offer fabulous spf protection of 15 spf and higher.

My skin is oily, will your minerals work for me? Yes! Our mineral veils help absorb oil and give you a beautiful look every time.

My skin is dry, will your minerals work for me? Yes! Our minerals do not settle into dry areas, therefore they give you a beautiful finish. Always apply your moisturizer before applying minerals. Let moisturizer absorb for approximately 10 minutes prior to applying foundation.

I have problem skin. Can I wear your makeup? Yes! Our rosacea, acne prone, sensitive and post laser clients all have great results with our minerals. Smoky Mountain Minerals give protective, healing benefits and are recommended by dermatologists and other skin care professionals. They are perfect for a wide range of skin imperfections such as rosacea, sensitive skin, dry and oily skin, and acne prone.

I am new to mineral makeup, what do I need? You may want to start with one of our kits. A kit with more than one foundation color is a great way to start. A great start is a foundation, blush, veil and kabuki buffer brush. Our kabuki buffer brush gives a beautiful even application. Many sellers fill their kits with useless items, but we only sell what you need and will use.
