CARING FOR AND USING CLEAR STAMPS
Clear stamps are becoming more and more popular in all paper crafts. I wanted to share with you some tips in using and caring for these stamps.
CONDITIONING
It is very important that you condition your stamps before you use them. The stamps will work fine if you don't condition them but the image will not be as crisp and clean as it should be. So, what is the best way to condition your stamps? Some people suggest using a fine grit sand paper but a simple pink eraser used to scuff the edges works just great. This just helps to get the ink to cling more to the stamp and get a better image
USING THESE STAMPS
These stamps are designed to use with an acrylic block. They are self clinging. All you need to do is peel the stamps off of their backing and place them, individually on the block, however you wish. You can mix and match and the possibilities are just endless!!
STORAGE
Store your stamps in a light free container. Indoor light, as well as sunlight can discolor your clear stamps. Keeping them in a book binder is a great way to store them, but if you don't have that a small box of some kind will work great too.
CLEANING
What is the best way to clean your clear stamps? I love using baby wipes. They aren't just for changing diapers and they are so easy to travel with. A mild soap and warm water will work just as good too.
Avoid bleaches and products containing acetone
