Operational general synopsis
A better night weather wise has allowed our network to return to normal; our UK and International networks operated mainly to plan last night. Any service affecting incidents are reported below.

Mails network & distribution
Air and rail – Our air and rail services operated mainly to plan last night with no major service affecting incidents reported.
Road – A late departing vehicle from our National Distribution Centre, near Daventry, may have caused a delay to some mail posted in the CV, MK and NN postcode areas yesterday, due for delivery in some parts of South Wales, the South West, South East and Anglia.
A small amount of mail posted in London, the South East and Anglia yesterday due to be delivered in the SA postcode area today, may have been delayed due to a transport issue at our Princess Royal Distribution Centre in London last night.
Distribution & vehicle centres – Our Distribution and Vehicle Centres worked well last night, with no service affecting issues reported.
Collections and deliveries
We will be making normal collections and deliveries in almost all areas today, where it is safe and possible for our staff to undertake them.
Parts of South East England were affected by the worst of the wintry conditions yesterday. It was not possible to complete all deliveries and collections in all of the more rural areas, including parts of Kent yesterday, but we will be attempting deliveries and collections today where conditions are safe enough to permit them.

Mail Centre processing
A processing issue at the Home Counties North Mail Centre last night may mean a possible delay to a small amount of mail posted in the AL, EN, HP, LU, SG and WD postcode areas yesterday, due for delivery across the UK today.

Operational general synopsis
Heavy snow in many parts of the country over the weekend has caused difficult driving conditions which is currently affecting services in some localised parts of the country. Deliveries and collections will be made in all areas today where it is safe and possible for our staff to do so.

Mails network & distribution
Air - The East Midlands Airport was closed for a time on Saturday night. Although all mail was transferred to our road networks there may be a delay to some mail due for delivery in Northern Ireland today.
All mail has been transferred to alternative transport; however it is possible that some mail sent to more remote parts of the UK may experience some slight delay.
A technical issue on a flight from Inverness airport to Stornoway was delayed due to a technical issue on Saturday night. This may have caused a delay to mail sent from the rest of the UK on Saturday, due for delivery in the Western Isles today.
Rail – Our rail network worked well and mainly to plan over the weekend.
Road – The difficult driving conditions over the weekend may have caused a delay to some mail posted to and from some of the more remote parts of the UK.
Distribution & vehicle centres – Our Distribution and Vehicle Centres generally worked to plan over the weekend.
Mail Centre processing
Our Mail Centres operated as planned over the weekend although some road services to and from a number of them were delayed by the difficult driving conditions.
