Below is a description of your latest Meximutt , Peke. You can let
all your supporters know that thanks to them, this sweet little dog
is now Stateside and safe from the tragic life she left behind her! We are currently writing our next newsletter and there is a separate section about Sur Al Norte and your ongoing support
Peke is an adorable little three year old terrier who was rescued
from an animal control center in Juarez, Mexico. Peke had been picked
up off the streets and impounded at animal control, where she would
have been euthanized were it not for the Compassion without Borders
rescue and Sur Al Norte's support, which enabled us to save her life.
Peke was rescued out of the animal control center, rehabiliated
locally (spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, fed, nurtured, quarantined,
etc) and was just recently driven all the way back to California
(last weekend) where she is currently awaiting adoption in her foster
home.
Peke is a loving little dog, a touch shy at first, but she warms
quickly and bonds rapidly and wants nothing more than a lap to sit in
and someone to give her the love and attention she so deserves.
Thank you for enabling us to save her.
