While shipping was fast, both the shipping box and the box containing the item were crushed on one end. Fortunately, the contents of the box remained unaffected by this. So the packaging could have been better, but ultimately it got here and unbroken at that. As such, the transaction went well enough. As for the item purchased, it was exactly as advertised. Color in the pictures was kindof way off. Otherwise, the description was accurate. Item got pretty badly banged up during shipping but seller's thorough packing saved it from any irreparable damage. I realise that shipping something like an IBM Selectric is hard and clearly this seller put in the effort to make sure that I got it basically intact.
