Shipping is offered through the USPS currently. USPS rates are based on weight and distance from origination. Something shipped to California may vary immensely from the same item shipped to Minnesota. The most economical method of mailing is also factored in. For example, Media Mail is used for books and catalogs because they are heavy. If an item is large, bulky or heavy, Parcel Post may be used. These two methods are less expensive for these types of items but the mailing time is longer. Please take this into account and note the estimated delivery time BY THE POST OFFICE and the date the item was mailed before you leave a low DSR for shipping time. For small, light items First Class Mail is sometimes used and estimated delivery time is nearly as speedy as Priority Mail. On some calculated shipping items, a small handling fee has been added to help offset packaging costs. International Customers PLEASE NOTE! Customs charges are not included in the sale price of an item or in the shipping charges you pay us. These are determined by your own country and we would have no way to know what the charges are. On September 22, 2009 eBay removed your choice for optional insurance. After careful deliberation and gathering of data from past sales and customers we have decided to self insure our items. This decision was made based on input from customers and from our record of "0" breakage, and "0" returns due to error on our part since our inception. At our discretion we may use additional USPS insurance for particularly fragile or expensive items. This plan is the most cost effective for us and our valued customers alike. It also fits most closely to our customers past choices when insurance was optional. Insurance is also not available for First Class Mail International so using that carrier is at YOUR risk.
