There seems to be no way to ship cheaply any more!  Everyone, including the Post Office, seems to be raising their rates on a regular basis now, and these increases are really hurting all of us.

Our nominal handling charge covers the usual packing materials to pack your items, plus insurance and Delivery Confirmation.  We are now trying to recycle as much packing material as possible so we don't have to raise our costs, so not all our items will be shipped in a nice new pretty package.

We won't ship by Parcel Post because those boxes are handled like footballs!  Only on rare occasions do we use Parcel Post, and that is for large boxed items.  And, when it comes right down to it, Parcel Post really isn't that much cheaper than First Class, and sometimes is even more than Priority.

Shipping Times:  We live in a rural town with no mail pick up or delivery, so we have to drive into town to the Post Office.  Because of gas prices and our schedule, we try to consolidate all our trips into town.  We tell you that we ship out only about once a week, but most of the time we end up shipping out much more frequently.

Also, there is no such thing as "over night" mail in or out of our town, so really there is no such thing as Express Mail.  If you need something overnight, please e-mail us and we can arrange for FedEx, but it's certainly not cheap!

(in other words, once we've delivered your package to our Post Office, they take this long to get your package to you)

Priority Mail: 2-3 days
First Class Mail: 3-7 days
Media Mail: 4 days to 2 weeks (sometimes longer!)

Combined Shipping: YES! we combine shipping!  No matter how many items you purchase, we weigh everything together that you have purchased, and then determine the shipping.  We have found this to be the cheapest way to figure shipping.  So please wait for an invoice from us so you can get your combined shipping discount!
