We have been in the camping business for many years. We have learned the importance of trouble free dependable equipment. Check out the pictures below. You can find them in the June 1952 National Geographic. My father Perry Jackson, was a Guide and Outfitter here in southern Utah. National Geographic hired him to guide them. Also in the pictures is Charlie Kelly Author of "The Outlaw Trail" a book about Butch Cassidy, The Sundance Kid, and the Wild Bunch. As you can see, we had to depend on our equipment. If we had a problem, we were in the middle of nowhere. No roads, telephones, or stores for miles.
