The Allen Core WheelTM
The Allen Core Wheel is a new core training aid for physically fit athletes that are striving for new levels of core strength. It is currently being used by competitive powerlifters, strongman athletes, and football strength training coaches at the high school and college level, however, athletes of all sports will see benefits. Regular use will improve endurance, increase power and work those hard to reach core muscles like you've never experienced. You will notice your abs, back, shoulders, arms, glutes and quads becoming harder and stronger.
With time and consistency, doing just the basic Allen Core Wheel exercise (the walking ab bridge) will require less effort. This is the time to challenge yourself and make the workout more difficult by adding weight. There are three accessories sold separately which will force you to work harder and make your muscles even stronger. The accessories are sold at this eBay store.
DON'T ADD TOO MUCH WEIGHT AT FIRST!
Allow the core muscles to gradually get used to bearing your own weight as you balance and walk forward on your hands. Strength is gained by making small increases in weight.
IMPORTANT
See a doctor and get clearance before starting a new exercise. If your abs and back are not already strong, start off by doing similar core wheel movements on the floor. Build up some back and ab strength before advancing to the Allen Core Wheel. Warm up before using the Allen Core Wheel. Do not stand on the Allen Core Wheel. It is designed for horizontal use only.
