The Black Yak concept began back in the Summer of 1992. In a discussion of future business plans we came up with our name. It may seem like a strange name for an equine business, but to us The Black Yak is like our mascot to the way we do business.... Simple, Hard Working, and Dedicated..... We have been in the tack business for many years now, and we are still growing, so keep in touch. We are a family run Christian business located in Central Texas.
