HOW TO SHOP ONLINE

Shopping online is easy at The Cats Pajamas. We have integrated ebay into our shopping cart, for ease of ordering and payment. It is very easy to create an ID on ebay. If you desire not to create an ebay ID, you can either email or call us with the item number(s) and pay with a credit card. We accept MasterCard, Visa, & Discover.

For ebay direct sales, We also accept PayPal, as per eBay policy. Please note that we no longer accept checks or Money Orders.

SHIPPING

Domestic: We offer several choices for shipping and will also ship first class to save you money. Also we will expedite using FEDEX, for a small fee if necessary, or if you have your own account, that works too. Mostly we offer FREE shipping , and insure it as well.

International: We ship any way you would like , based on your preferences and the pre-assigned weight of the item(s). We offer USPS and upon request, FEDEX rates. You can calculate the shipping, using the shipping calculator on the ebay listings. We ship almost every day, so you will get your item quickly! FedEx shipments go out same day if possible. We are not responsible for customs fees incurred by your government - please check before ordering so as not to be surprised by extra taxes!First class is cheapest and cannot be insured,so loss is not covered- a risk you take if you choose 1st class. Priority and Express are insured automatically. We don't usually have any problems with international, and we have been shipping that way for over 10 years.

RETURNS

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED! We will do our best to make sure you are satisfied-Miss Kitty knows it is hard to buy clothing and accessories without seeing them 1st, and trying them on. So we now allow returns under these conditions: Return for any reason, if you pay the shipping, but for store credit only.

Layaway

We will put items on layaway for up to one month, but these items cannot be returned. We require a 30% deposit on all layaway orders. It must be paid within 30 days, or you forfeit your deposit and the item is restocked. So don’t forget!

MEASURING

We try to measure as accurately as possible. The old sizes and even today's sizes are unreliable sources when it comes to Vintage Apparel!

When measuring for fit, please follow these basic instructions to ensure your measurements will serve as a size comparison. We measure items in their unstretched state (if it stretches) unless description says otherwise. We measure the ITEM EXACTLY - it is not a suggestion about what measurements it will fit. This is the way we measure:

Blouses, Tops and Shirts:

1. Arm length is measured from shoulder to wrist hem.
2. Bust/chest measured from armpit, across the chest to the other armpit, then measurement is doubled.
3. Length is measured from shoulder to hem.
4. Waist is measured across where a normal waist would fall and then doubled.

Skirts and Dresses:

1. Waist is measured across where a normal waist would fall and then doubled.
2. Skirt length is measured from waistband to hem.
3. Dress length is measured from shoulder to hem.
4. Hips are measured across where a normal hip would fall then doubled.

Pants:

1. Inseam is measured from crotch along inside of leg to hem.
2. Waist is measured across natural waist then doubled.

Sometimes we measure from the waist, as in pajamas where the crotch is long. We mention that if it is done that way.
