You MUST contact me within three (3) days after end of auction to inform me of shipping method!
Shipping Fees: Shipping and Handling fees are absolute and are NOT negotiable. Please do not bid if you have any problems with my shipping fees. These fees do not represent actual shipping costs, but also include packaging, USPS confirmation fees (required for ALL packages), supplies associated with preparing packages for shipping, etc. etc. etc. International fees include preparation of Customs Declaration and any other necessary forms, and a trip to the post office. I mark all international packages as "gifts." I almost always mail packages five days a week, ensuring a quick delivery of your items. International shipments are made on Fridays only, as I need to make a trip to the post office to mail them.
Please understand, I operate a business, I do not just do this out of my home in my spare time. I maintain an office, with all related equipment and expenses. When you purchase an item from any other mail order business, they do not just charge for shipping, but all costs related to shipping that item to you - please give me the same respect.
Many of my items are discounted - so PLEASE don't purchase a $4.99 discounted pattern, and complain about the shipping fees! As stated before, if you have a problem with the fees....don't buy from me. I offer quality products and will stand behind them. As you will note from my feedback, I deliver what I promise. I don't want to sound harsh, but you would not believe the emails I receive. It's like people have nothing better to do or are not happy unless they complain about something.
International bidders please note: Patterns 12" and under, shipping fees are $13 for every five patterns. All others, fees are $13 for every four patterns. This can vary, depending on the size of the patterns, so please do not pay until I have sent you an invoice unless international rates are posted for that item. Also please note that my free shipping DOES NOT apply to international customers. I will send an invoice with correct shipping charges unless they are noted on the site. International shipments are made on Fridays only, as I need to make a trip to the post office to mail them.
Insurance: Please note that I reserve the right to self-insure. What this means is that if you purchase insurance, I can either purchase the insurance through the post office, or I will cover the cost of the package myself if it is lost or not delivered. Please wait 30 days before contacting me regarding a package you have not received. The post office has been known to take this long. I have contacted them, and all they tell me is that they do not guarantee delivery times. I do not have control over how the post office handles the mail. When insurance is required, due to its value or if I chose not to self insure, insurance will be purchaed through the post office
Shipping: I ship three days a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Payments made before 10:00 a.m. will be mailed that day. Payments made later in the day will be shipped the next shipping day, or Monday if it's on a Friday. Almost all packages will have a delivery confirimation, which will be sent to you once I ship your package. If you did not recieve one, or wish to track your package, you can do so by going into your "Items Won" page, clicking on the "View Payment Details" bar to the right of the item, and then clicking on "View Shipment Status." That will tell you the day the item was shipped. Sometimes it does not say where the package is at in transit, just that the label was created. I mail ALL packages the day the label was created. You can copy and paste the confirmation number to the post office tracking site, and they might let you know where it is in transit. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't. Please DO NOT contact me asking when the package was sent, as I do not have time to answer all emails. This information is provided for you as stated above.
