July 28th:
The upgrade to my listing template is now finally complete- YAY! Wow, that was a couple weeks of all-nighters and lots of caffeine to keep me up till the sun started to rise many nights while I revised all 1500 of my listings here on eBay. The new template for my listings was designed to make it much easier for you, my customers, to read and find information. I simplified my design, got rid of the fancy fonts, lined everything to the left for easier reading, and got rid of the links to other "featured" items and categories that were unrelated to the item in the listing.
NEW FEATURES IN OUR TEMPLATES:
- More specific product information: Brand, Size, Collection, Edition, SKU, Artist, etc.
- Clickable links to other items with the same characteristics like Artist, Brand, Collection, etc which is terrific for those of you who are collectors and click on an item and want to see the others in the series.
- More specific shipping information for USA, Canada, and International buyers with links to full pages for each outlining our shipping policies and information.
- Combined shipping discounts are clearly stated in each listing
- Multiple Links near the bottom left corner for easy access to other areas of our store to find more information on our products and policies.
- A section with all of our contact info for easy access in case you are left with any questions.
This was a HUGE project for me to complete and I hope that it does make for an easier shopping experience for all. I welcome your comments on the new design as well as any suggestions as there is always room to improve even more.
MORE NEW PRODUCT NEWS:
Ok, well the down side to this listing upgrade was that it has kept me so incredibly busy, that I have been behind in listing some brand new products that have come in. I have added a huge new line of Amy Brown art prints, new 2010 calendars by Amy and Nene, new Bradford Exchange figurines, and more already- but there is so much more to come! Stay tuned and make sure you subscribe to our newsletters as I will be sending out some emails toward the end of this week highlighting some of the newest releases just as soon as I get them listed.

July 14th:
Still working on upgrading our listing template to the new design. It will be an on-going effort for the next several weeks I am sure. My priority is to keep current with my shipping and customer service, them to get all of the new products listed that we currently have coming in, then to be revising and re-building our catalogue of listings. I also want to re-do all of our store categories before the summer is over to allow for better browsing and easier searching.Tomorrow, I am expecting a couple of shipments including, Jessica Galbreth's brand new artist's manual, some new LTD edition prints from Nene Thomas, some new Amy Brown and Sheila Wolk art prints, as well as re-stocking of our art prints. Also, at the end of this week or beginning of next week, I am expecting "Ruby" which is a long awaited Jasmine Becket-Griffith fairy and dragon figurine from the Hamilton Collection and the Bradford Exchange. I have had many requests for this one so I am expecting a huge demand- keep an eye out! |

July 12th:
It is 3AM and I am about ready to throw in the towel for the night. Been working on listing some new products and re-listing some of our figurines with our new listing template which gives you more product specific details as well as the ability to find other products in our store with the same attributes. My goal is to have all of our over 1400 listings switched over to this new template by the end of the month, so bear with me until then and please email with any questions.I am a tad behind with my email newsletters and announcements I have to admit but will be working on sending out an email early next week to announce some of our new products and our new store pages. In the meantime, I have featured the new additions above.
July 9th:
I am currently hard at work in the wee hours building custom pages for our eBay store (like this one) and working on revising current listings and adding new products. There is so much happening right now as we are getting lots of new products in within the next few weeks and re-stocking previously sold out items as well. I am re-designing our listing pages to make them more user friendly and easy to read and find the details you are looking for. Gradually all of our listings will be switch over and I hope you enjoy the new format.
I have updated our Store Policies page and have added individual shipping info pages for USA, Canada, and International locations to make it easy to find information on our shipping methods, policies, and discounts.
I have also added a page called Featured Fairy and Fantasy Artists where I will be showcasing some of the artists whose products we carry so that you can learn more about them and have some featured links to their items in our store.
Within the next 6 weeks, I plan to re-organize our store category structure for easier browsing. Our product line has increased so much this year, I am finding that categories are getting a bit congested and I want to create more sub-categories so it will be easier to find specific items you are looking for faster.

2009 International New Age Trade Show in Denver Colorado
June 26th-June 29th, 2009
My husband and I attended the INATS show this year and we had an amazing time! We met many artists in person for the first time like Jessica Galbreth, Jody Bergsma, Ash Evans, Lisa Steinke, Giovanna Adams and other wonderful new business associates and "fairy friends". We had the pleasure of joining Jessica, Lisa, Ash and her husband, and Giovanna for some fun times after the show along with a wonderful sales rep, Annette, and Robyn from Munro Gifts and some other new friends- we had a blast!
