Items are typically shipped within one business day of receiving your cleared payment. Domestic and international shipping is calculated by weight, plus a nominal handling fee to cover packing materials (and a Certificate of Mailing for international packages). Insurance is optional for domestic customers only, and is recommended. The Jewelry Casket is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
All body piercing jewelry is 100% brand new. It has never been worn and is inspected for defects before it is sent to you. Regardless of the jewelry being new, it is recommended that you clean and sterilize any body jewelry purchased before wearing it. Even new jewelry is likely to have been exposed to bacteria or other contaminants during handling.
To clean your new body jewelry, simply use warm water and an antibacterial hand soap. The use of boiling water, alcohol, or other chemicals for cleaning is not recommended, as it may damage your new jewelry.
By bidding on one of my auctions, you are entering into a legally binding contract to buy if you are the winning bidder. I try to always leave feedback and ask that you do the same. In the event that a winning bidder fails to make payment, I reserve the right to relist the item or items, report the bidder as a non-paying customer, and leave negative feedback. I also reserve the right to block such non-paying customers from bidding on TJC auctions in the future. However, I really don't want to do any of those things! If you do not intend to pay, please do not bid. And please, ALWAYS feel free to send a message to before bidding with any questions you may have.
Refunds & Exchanges
Body Jewelry - Any pierced style of jewelry is considered to be body jewelry, including regular earrings. For sanitary reasons, body jewelry items cannot be returned unless defective. Body jewelry items are warranted to be free of manufacturer defects only. If you receive a damaged or defective product, you must send a message to within 3 days for a return authorization and instructions. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Items damaged in shipping will be warranted ONLY if you choose the optional insurance at checkout. Defective or damaged body jewelry items will be exchanged for the same item only. In the instance that a same-item exchange is not possible, the full purchase price will be refunded. Please note that the original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Body jewelry items that are not the correct size for your piercing are not considered defective. Please verify you are ordering the correct size before confirming your order.
Standard Jewelry/Non-Jewelry Items – If you are not satisfied with your purchase, non-pierced jewelry and other non-jewelry items may be returned for a full refund of the purchase price. Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable. You must contact within 3 days for a return authorization and instructions. The buyer is responsible for return shipping, and unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
