About us

Welcome to Our Perpetual Paper Show! Postcards, magazines, ephemera, rare books and more. "We've got what was."

Since 1983, the Jumping Frog has been a focal point for book lovers and book collectors in the greater Hartford, Connecticut, area, featuring at its height over 100,000 volumes and a vast collection of ephemeral items: magazines, pamphlets, programs, postcards, posters, and more. Our book inventory in our bricks-and-mortar location now is a modest 8500, But our ebaY inventory tops 100,000 and grows each day.

As an ebaY Seller since 1998, we have established and continued the ambitious project of matching every printed item in our inventory with its perfect owner. In many cases, these bits of paper are the only residue of a business, family, organization, school or industry. By locating these items hereabouts at auction, yard sale, estate sale or private purchase, we seek to return them to the marketplace and hope they connect you with a moment of your past.
