Shipping Rates
All items sold are shipped from our office in Shizuoka City, Japan. Each item is carefully weighed and measured prior to listing in order to determine that item's actual shipping cost. This allows us to then include regional shipping quotes within each listing which are sufficient to cover postage and handling costs to any address worldwide. The shipping rate you see in the listing reflects the total cost of postage as well as a charge for materials and handling.

Shipping Methods
All shipments are via Japan Post standard airmail or Express Mail Service (EMS) airmail. EMS airmail includes a tracking number and is typically faster than standard airmail. Please note that we do not use less secure shipping methods such as surface or SAL delivery due to the higher incidence of loss, damage and significant delay which we have previously encountered using these methods. Your understanding and consideration prior to bidding is greatly appreciated. Purchases are carefully packed and shipped within 72 hours of receipt of payment though holidays and weekends may cause additional delay. Standard airmail delivery to addresses in North America and Europe average one to three weeks with more or less time sometimes required for other areas of the world. Shipments which are too large or heavy to be handled by the Japan Post will be shipped by our private freight carrier Nippon Express.

Shipping Insurance and dealing with international customs
We self insure the full purchase value of each order which means that your purchase is fully protected against loss or damage. We do not charge extra for insurance which is automatically included with every order. Additional insurance is provided by the Japan Post for EMS shipments valued up to $200.00 USD. Additional Japan Post insurance is also available for customers who wish to buy it. International buyers should be aware of the laws of their own country and be prepared to deal with any and all customs-related fees and charges. Taxes, duties, VAT and any other levies accessed are the responsibility of the buyer.

Combined Shipping
We are always happy to combine items to help our customers save money on shipping. Our automatic checkout system calculates combined shipping in the manner described below. You can use this information prior to purchase to determine your combined shipping charge for any order item combination. Please do not make payments for any individual items you wish us to combine as we are unable to combine items once payment has been received. Items paid for individually will be shipped separately.

There is no discount for the item with the highest shipping charge. However, each additional item will have its shipping charge reduced by 50%.

Example:
Item 1 ship charge: $10.00 (no discount)
Item 2 ship charge: $8.00 (50% discount = $4.00)
Item 3 ship charge: $5.00 (50% discount = $2.50)
Total ship charge with discount: $16.50

We are happy to hold your items while you continue shopping. To have us do so then simply do not make any payments until you are ready for final checkout. Don't worry, we will not relist or sell your item to anyone else during this period. When you are all done shopping then please simply send us an email to let us know and we will prepare and send you a single invoice for all items. Your invoice will include your combined shipping total as well as a handy PayPal link for easy payment.
