HOW TO MEASURE JEANS, PANTS & SHORTS FOR THE PERFECT FIT

Jeans, Pants & Shorts:
 A Waist:
Taken side to side across the waistband then double.

Waist measurement will vary if you are looking at jeans that have a different rise than your own jeans.
 B Inseam:
Taken from the crotch seam to the bottom of the hem.
 C Rise:
Taken from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband.

Rise is very important.
The lower the rise the bigger the waist measurement.
The higher the rise the smaller the waist measurement.

We have found that for every inch the rise goes down, you should add 1 1/2 to 2" to the waist measurement.

For example, if you wear a size 12 the normal rise is around 11.5 inches and waist 30 inches. If you are looking at buying a pair of pants with a mid rise of 9, you would need to add approximately 4 to 5 inches to the waist. You would be looking for a waist of 34 to 35 inches.

Ultra Low Rise = Less than 4" Rise
Low Rise = 4.5"-7" Rise
Mid Rise = 7.5"-10.5" Rise
Regular Rise = 11"-12.5" Rise
High Rise = 13" and Up Rise

 E Thigh:
Taken side to side 2" below the crotch then double.
 F Knee:
