Auction Rules and Terms of Sales:
Welcome! To make your auction and purchase experience go smoothly, kindly observe the following guidelines and auction rules and terms and conditions of sale. Please do not bid on any auction or buy-it-now offer if you do not agree with all auction rules and terms of sale. By bidding, your bid constitutes agreement to be bound by the following conditions:
1. Payment Instructions: Payment is accepted by PayPal only. Winning bidders must confirm and pay within 5 days of the auction end. This time frame may be extended in unusual circumstances (based on arrangements made prior to the auction end). Items not timely paid for are subject to re-listing or possible second-chance offers to runner-up bidders.
2. Shipping and handling costs: Shipping includes handling, cost of packaging materials and expense, plus the cost of shipping to your destination. Buyers in the state of Washington also pay sales tax at the applicable rate of 8.8%. Domestic shipping is by USPS priority mail. International shipping is by USPS International Priority, (cost and availability based on your country of destination). If you are an international bidder, please check out the cost of shipping before bidding as international shipping may be expensive to your destination.
3. Other shipping restrictions and conditions: Orders are processed after confirmation that payment has cleared. If paying by PayPal with an e-check, please remember that payment does not clear when you hit the "send" key on the PayPal site, but when PayPal sends the notification that your e-check has cleared your bank. PayPal payments made with instant transfers from your bank account and using the credit card feature of PayPal clear almost immediately. International buyers need to be aware that shipments to their destination require us by US law to complete a customs form when surrendering your package to the post office for delivery. Contents of the package must be accurately identified (i.e., "book", "toy", etc.) and truthfully identified as "merchandise". Buyers are responsible for any taxes, VAT, or customs duties required by their country of destination resulting from a sale.
4. Insurance: Unless otherwise stated in the auction, for domestic buyers, insurance is included in the cost of shipping. Insurance is not included in the cost of shipping, and is optional, at buyer's expense, if the auction specifies that insurance is optional. Seller is not responsible for merchandise shipped uninsured and buyer assumes all risk of loss if insurance is not purchased for such items. For international buyers, insurance cost is based on your destination. Please inquire before bidding if you have questions. Insurance may be included at no extra cost or it may be expensive depending on your delivery destination. Nonetheless, unless the auction specifically states that insurance is "optional", insurance is required and is relatively inexpensive in comparison to the value we seek to protect from loss or damage in the mail. A combined shipping discount is available for multiple items purchased at the same approximate time. Please remember, however, that likewise insurance is combined and will be based on the total value of the items shipped. Insurance is normally required for the majority of auctions and sales, as seller cannot assume risk of loss, damage, or non-delivery of bidders' items, and it is the most cost-effective way to both parties to avoid disputes over "damaged in transit", "non-delivery", and "lost in the mail" issues. Please inquire BEFORE bidding if you have questions.
5. Bidding restrictions: Regrettably, bids from bidders with feedback in the negative (-1 or lower), or a recent run of negatives, cannot be accepted. Bids from buyers with zero (0) feedback, or an overall feedback rating of less than 90% positive, are accepted conditioned on payment being made by the buyer within 24 hours of the auction end unless different arrangements are made with me prior to bidding. Ebayers who have a feedback score of 5 or lower are initially limited in the number of items that can be bid upon and purchased at one time, but this restriction is removable on a case-by-case basis. (Please do not hesitate to inquire in advance or if you have questions.) Non-paying bidders will be blocked from future auctions and a non-paying bidder credit will be requested from eBay which may result in a non-paying bidder warning.
6. Returns: Returns are generally not contemplated. I try my best to describe the items for sale accurately. Please read the item description carefully, and look at any photos I have posted of the item(s), as all sales are final and items are typically sold 'as is'. In particular, we are not responsible for the contents of unopened still-sealed blisters and boxes, and obviously to open a sealed box to personally inspect the contents would destroy the value and integrity of an item being offered as "sealed". Sales of MTG cards are subject to additional conditions which are listed herein or on the actual auction page. Items damaged in the mail for which the buyer desires a refund must be returned to me before the refund can be processed, as the post office requires the surrender of the damaged item to process any insurance claim. If your item arrives damaged, do NOT send the item back to me without FIRST contacting me for return instructions so that we can preserve and process your refund claim for you. Please contact me within 2 business days of receipt of any shipment damaged in transit. Due to fraud concerns, I do not give partial refunds or offer rebates.
7. Customer satisfaction: Customer satisfaction is important to me as I would like you to consider purchasing from me again in the future if I have another item you would like to acquire. Therefore, if you encounter any problems, please contact me as soon as possible and before leaving negative or neutral feedback so that we may instead make every effort to address your concerns. Feedback is not left upon receipt of the buyer's payment but is left at the completion of the entire transaction, which includes buyer's receipt of their item and feedback from the buyer indicating the entire transaction has been completed.
8. Hours of Operation: The Royal Curator eBay store and auctions run by the QueenOfCredits are open for business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, subject to down-time by eBay for maintenance. Our auctions and store sales are also normally monitored several times a day on Mondays through Fridays, between the hours of Tijuana/Pacific Time Zone 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. We frequently, but not always, also occasionally check-in during weekday evenings, and on Saturdays and Sundays. We try to promptly reply to questions from buyers and bidders. If there is a delay, it may be because we are researching your inquiry (such as a shipping quote) or perhaps it is day hours in your time zone in the world, but the middle of the night here! Don't despair. We will respond. :)
9. Shipping and Processing: If you make a purchase and payment early enough in the day (typically, by noon, our time), we can almost always process and package your order so that it can be shipped out the next business day. Please remember we are only able to post your item to you during days our post office is open--which is Mondays through Fridays, not counting US federally-recognized holidays. So, for example, if you pay for your item on a Monday morning, that means its headed to the post office a mere 24 hours later, Tuesday morning. But, that also means, as a worst case scenario, if you purchase an item on a Friday night, and the coming Monday is a US holiday, your shipment won't be able to go out until the post office opens on Tuesday morning. To reduce processing delays, please make sure your eBay shipping address matches your PayPal shipping address. If they don't, we get confused! and will want to contact you to confirm where you want your minis and other goodies sent.
