Guarantees
The Scented Realm ltd cannot guarantee that you will like the incense/oil you have purchased. Each person is different, and it is impossible to ensure a product will be to your liking. All of the descriptions are either direct from the manufacturer, or our best educated description. The Scented Realm ltd will guarantee that the product will arrive to you in good shape, without damage. The Scented Realm ltd will also guarantee against defects in manufacturers’ workmanship as well as any item that is misrepresented by either description or picture.
Damage / Return Policy
Should you receive an order that either has been damaged in shipping or has a defect in manufacturers workmanship, you will need to E-MAIL with the details. You will have 7 days from receipt of your order to contact our customer service department. We will not be responsible for damage or defects after 7 days from receipt. When possible The Scented Realm ltd will choose to replace item, refunds can only be fulfilled if the item is returned to us. Damage from misuse or mishandling is not covered.
Sales Tax
By law, we are required to charge sales tax to any and all shippments to our home territory. We must charge sales tax to all customers in the state of Illinois. The tax rate is 10.25%.
There are no exceptions.
Shipping
All products are shipped U.S.P.S. First Class Mail (up to the 13 ounce weight limit) or Priority Mail (all packages 13 ounces or more).
Products going outside the U.S. will be shipped Global priority.
All packages ship with delivery confirmation. Orders will be shipped with 24 hours of receipt of payment. (Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays excluded). All items are boxed and padded against breakage.
Shipping Charges
In an effort to expedite orders, we are using weight to calculate shipping charges. In this way, when you order more than one item the shipping charge will be for the combined weight of all your items in one box with only one handling fee.
With this method, when you make a multi-item purchase the price for shipping will be correct, and the need to contact us for a combined total is eliminated. You will no longer need to wait for a response and this may cut an entire day out of your wait time.
Should there be a serous miscalculation of the shipping charges, The Scented Realm Ltd. will refund your over payment through Paypal.

Lost in Shipment Liabilities
Every box that we ship out has a delivery confirmation tracking bar code. This bar code is scanned when the destination postal person delivers the package. Should a box be lost in shipment before it has been scanned as delivered The Scented Realm Ltd will be responsible to replace the shipment and deal with all issues. Should a box be lost after it has been scanned as delivered, then the you (the receiver of the order) must handle the issue directly with the post office and/or neighbors, house guests, roommates or family.
Orders that are going outside the U.S. will covered if lost before entering the country of destination. U.S.P.S. scans the package when it enters the country. Should a box be lost in shipment before it has been scanned The Scented Realm Ltd will be responsible to replace the shipment and deal with all issues. Should a box be lost after it has been scanned as delivered to the country of destination, then the you (the receiver of the order) must handle the issue directly with the local post office.
To reiterate, once a package has been scanned as delivered by U.S.P.S. The Scented Realm ltd will not be held responsible for replacing missing or stolen packages.
Privacy Policy
The Scented Realm ltd does not share or sell any of your information that you supply to us. Your address, buying habits and personal information will be held in the strictest confidence. The Scented Realm ltd will keep all information confidential.
Limitations of Liability
Incense is a combustible item. Oils can be flammable if misused. Sprays and their contents can be flammable. Oils and their colors, as well as the colors and oils from incense, can stain woods, clothing, material and furniture. Avoid direct contact to any of these surfaces. Handling incense and oils and then touching eyes, mucous membranes, cuts, abrasions or contact with sensitive skin can cause irritation. These items are used with an open flame to light and may pose a fire hazard if misused or mishandled. All incense and oils must be used as intended and in a proper manner. Under no circumstances, including, but not limited to, negligence, shall The Scented Realm Ltd. be liable for any or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, our products, even if The Scented Realm Ltd. or a The Scented Realm Ltd. associate has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you for all damages, losses and causes of action whether in contract, tort (including, but not limited to, negligence) or otherwise exceed the amount paid by you, if any from this eBay store..
Returned Shipments
Should any package get returned to us for any reason, The Scented Realm Ltd. will attempt to contact the buyer with a maximum of 2-emails. We will hold your package for a total of 90 days from date of return. The Scented Realm Ltd. will not be held responsible for any returned packages that are held for over 90 days. If you do not receive your package it is your responsibility to contact us. The Scented Realm Ltd will only resend the package after we receive the payment for the return postage.
Other
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America and of the state of Illinois, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. If any provision of these terms shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. This is the entire agreement between us relating to the subject matter herein and shall not be modified except in writing, signed by both parties.
