We do both work outside the home, so the majority of time we ship the next business day after receiving payment.
Included in the shipping is a small charge to help cover any bubble wrap, envelopes, ink, paper, gas, etc. that has to do with shipping. The amount depends on whether the item is highly fragile, and how much extra loving care and packaging we need to take to ensure it arrives at your home safe and sound.
