All Items are gently PRE-OWNED or CUSTOM HAND MADE (see "About Me") unless specifically stated otherwise in the description and/or title. Occasionally I will find an item that can be listed as New With Tags (NWT). When registration numbers or labels are available, that information is provided in the description and/or photos.

GENTLY PRE-OWNED means the item is NOT NEW. I make every effort to describe my items as accurately as possible. The detailed description will point out any obvious conditions such as: noticeable discolorations, stains, or signs of wear, etc--anything that the average person would notice upon first observation. These conditions are usually underlined within the copy. The item may also have very minor scratches, scuffs or blemishes associated with being gently pre-owned. These minor conditions DO NOT detract from the overall appearance or usability of the item and are therefore not always mentioned in the copy. Please shop my items with that understanding clearly in mind.
IF YOU MUST HAVE ABSOLUTE PERFECTION, you may want to shop with a retail seller for a NEW comparable brand item. You may have to pay the full retail price, but you will most likely be more satisfied with your purchase. If, however, you're willing to accept the fact that some very minor signs of prior ownership may be present but not necessarily mentioned in the detailed listing, then you will no doubt reap the benefits of acquiring a carefully selected, gently pre-owned, high quality item that's being described and photographed for you as accurately as possible, within reason. I have factored the item's pre-owned status into the fixed price. Because of this, I do not negotiate in any way on pricing or selling options. PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL WITH OFFERS. NEAR MINT and MINT condition mean the item has few if any obvious conditions but may have minor scratches, scuffs or blemishes associated with being gently pre-owned but which don't detract from the overall appearance or usability of the item (please see the paragraph above).

NEW WITH TAGS (NWT) means the item still has its manufacturer's and/or sales tags attached. An item may have been a counter display, sample or store return, so it might have barely visible scratches, scuffs or blemishes--nothing of any practical importance.

AUTHENTICITY--The classifications mentioned above are based on a THOROUGH VISUAL INSPECTION of the item. Original documentation is usually not available to verify the authenticity or date of manufacturing on pre-owned items since most of them are purchased second-hand through estate sales, antiques stores or yard sales. But, years of experience and practice have helped me to discern between authentic bags and a myriad of knock offs. First, I look for a brand Creed and/or Registration / Model Number. Then I look for multiple indicators of the brand such as logos on the exterior, on the interior lining, on hang tags, zipper pulls, etc. I also inspect the quality of the material and of the craftsmanship. Knock offs usually have inferior quality materials, poor craftsmanship and often only one brand indicator. In addition, knock offs will often use PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride--a leather substitute) rather than superb quality, thick leather. Their hardware will many times be shoddy, lightweight and cheap. These are just a few of the signs I look for when shopping for merchandise. However, if you don't feel comfortable with the authenticity of an item, then please don't feel as if you have to purchase. I want you to be confident in shopping with me. I'm more interested in having you as a happy return customer than I am in making one single sale.

All MEASUREMENTS are approximate and are done to give customers a general reference on size and shape. To ensure a better fit for belts, DO NOT RELY SOLELY on the manufacturer's original stated sizing number (EX: Size 34). Different belt makers determine the belt's size differently. Some belt makers size from the buckle's base to the middle position. Many size to the IDEAL--next to loosest--position. Still, others size to the belt tip. To assure a more satisfactory fit, study the "bullited" measurements in the listing. Compare those lengths to your own favorite--most comfortable--belts. Compare apples to apples. Measure from the base of the buckle--where the leather folds over the buckle--to the position hole where you typically fasten your belt. Then compare that measurement to the corresponding measurement in the belt you are shopping.

Some pre-owned items might have a SCENT associated with them, usually none or very slight. If I detect any scent at all, I will disclose this in the item description. However, your sense of smell could be stronger than mine and if you are allergic to scents or the scents could possibly influence your positive experience, please consider this before making a commitment to buy.
