I just received the Baroni navy sport coat in the mail. I can honestly say it is one of the nicest jackets that you can find in this price
range. The detail in the tailoring is magnificent, and the drape and fabric of the jacket is just something not expected on a $200 sport
coat! I am truly amazed at this product! I've been reading up on some forums on AAAC.com, and I can't believe that there are some people who
won't even give you a try! Your product is just unreal. I'm going to soon be purchasing a baroni khaki or Grey suit from you. If the quality
is like the sport coat, you have certainly gotten yourself a lifelong customer ;)

Ok Jeff. Just got back from the tailor in Houston.
Carrying in a suit to a Mens Warehouse was ok, but the tailor raised a bunch of questions.
He determined that no changes needed to be made to the coat, but took me & jacket out to a big flat table in the back and spread it out on it's back. I asked him what the external white threads were on the outside of the coat, and he told me that meant "hand-stitching". He hadn't heard of "Baroni" and was looking closely. He literally rubbed all over the inside of the coat and continued to ask questions. (I asked him to assess the quality for me). He loved the fake button holes on the sleeves of the jacket and commented that most of theirs (Mens' Warehouse) didn't have them. He loved the fabric and kept muttering shit I didn't understand.
The trousers were perfect in the waist, which surprised me, but they are going to take in the seat. I have no ass. No surprise there. He commented to me they were lined "lower than most of what I've seen".
Once the ticket was drawn-up and we were about to leave, I asked him to make an initial assessment of the suit. He pointed to the jacket and said the super 150 wool was a bit hard to work with for him, but was ideal for our gulf coast semi-tropical climate. He explained that it was highly twisted and could be warm and lightweight and the same time, and that I'd purchased an excpetionally high-quality product. He said with proper care this suit would last me the rest of my life. Then he talked about wool vs. poly-blends and that I was lucky to get a true "super 150" product ordering on line. He couldn't believe I bought this online. He guessed that I payed around $850 on sale, and commended me on my choice.
I blurted out that I payed $*** and he wrote down your eBay store address and has said that he's going to order from you! I think the salesman may order from you too. They charged me an extra $4 to alter it because it wasn't theirs, but they really are ok tailors for hems.

I finally rec'd this fabulous suit today!( through no fault of yours) it took forever to get through customs and then our post lady is too lazy to
walk up our driveway, so it went to a depot, etc. ANYWAY, as you said, it is stunning! and thank you ever so much for not
only the lovely tie, but the cheaper price for duty! Where is it I can rave about you as you and I didn't process through ebay?
I will be getting another one for him in the fall through as well, so if you get some deals again on something different, I am not sure which color

Just a courtesy email to inform you that I received my suit today. It is absolutely beautiful and a lot lighter than I expected! I hardly notice I am wearing it. The shirt is excellent as well, very stylish and very well made. Thank you for the tie, it was a really nice suprise and I will be definitely wearing it often! I received the suit today! Its great. I couldnt believe the fit was almost
perfect. Just needs a few adjustments to the pants, but I was expecting
that.
But best of all, the quality of the fabric is amazingly good. I've paid over
$1,300 for suits in Australia recently and they're no better!
I'll be recommending all my friends to buy your suits! I'm a suit collector
and they know I'm fussy with quality.

I was just about to e-mail you - again we are n'sync!
So, UPS attempted a delivery of the package Thursday at noon at our home. Unfortunately, we were at work and couldn't accept. Michael made arrangements with UPS at the Toronto Airport UPS Depot to pick it up today anytime after 8:30 am. I was there at 9:15 and they couldn't find the package anywhere (not in building or on truck). After few exchange of unpleasant words and an hour later (Lol), they found it. It was on another truck ready to be delivered again to our home. The additional C.O.D. was minimal for our lovely government - GST on customs. You have not messed up at all!!!
I finally just got to work and Michael, with excitement, opened the package. If you can picture, we have -25 degrees Celsius and lots of snow on the ground. He had to try the suit jackets in our office parking lot. First of all, we both agree that the suits are Freaking Gorgeous!!!! The material is so soft and the finishing is amazing. Love the color of each suit. The chocolate brown is amazing - thank you for the matching tie. All ties are gorgeous too and they feel like butter! Michael loves both suits and both fit him extremely well. We thought we would have to take in the sleeves of the brown one as it was 48L but they fit as perfect as the black 46R. Amazing and thank you soo soo much. You are forever my suit contact to outfit my husband and make him HOT looking in a suit!!! LOL
I also want to thank you again for the amazing "deal" that you gave us. We really appreciate it very much! The suits in Canada are ridiculously priced and the selection is minimal unless you get a Boss or Armani.

Karen (my spouse) and I crossed over to your side today to pick up our mail. Of course, my new suit was there waiting for me. I had to open the box right then and there. First impression - beautiful. I was touched by the added gift of the lovely pink tie. That tie will go perfectly with that suit and with a lot of my other suit and shirt combinations. The suit is nearly perfect out of the box, if I needed it immediately. Tomorrow though, it is going to the tailor for trouser cuffs, about a one inch waist tuck and a touch of tapering in the jacket, also about one inch or so. The sleeve length is perfect. The shoulders sit perfect. The weight is perfect. The cloth is wonderful. I am excited to get it back and get it on my back. I think you and I are going to have a long running friendship.

This past weekend I was in Nordstrom looking at suits. Nothing for me unless it was a great looking $1200 Canali jacket. No thanks. It's not that I can't afford the jacket, I just think the quality suits you sell at such resonable prices make them a much better value.

So I received the Valentino yesterday. I have to say I
am very pleased with the suit! What a lovely hand! and
the fabric is so interesting! I'd call it black w/
charcoal tone rather than black/mocha tone and it's
quite a nice variation on a black suit.
The slim cut is perfect for me. I hope the fabric
proves hardy enough for worry-free wear.

Quick questions -
Are the Baroni suits a comparable fit to the Marco Valentino suits? I'm now happy with the 40S in the Valentino.
The Valentino I got the other week has quite a 'strong' shoulder - are the Baronis any softer?
Does the peak lapel Valentino in navy pinstripe come in a 2 button?
Also, you mention (in your email below) a gray stripe coming out soon (I'm assuming in the Valentino?). Any chance you could let me know when pics are available on the net? I understand that you must get a lot of email everyday so no problem if this is too hard.I took the M Valentino suit to the tailor the other day. He is a real genius - one of the best tailors in Melbourne. He thought the fit was pretty good but will essentially take it apart (apparently the jacket 'tilted' a bit which didn't match my upright posture) and make it look like a tailored suit. He's definitely on the expensive side but including the cost of the alteration the suit still ends up being the same price as a non-altered department store suit! I didn't tell him how much the suit cost but when he saw it he shook his head and told me I could have spent the same amount of money on his basic MTM - I believe that means he thinks it cost me A$1,500!
Looking to order a couple more in the next week. Might even go a windowpane Baroni, keyhole lapel buttonhole and all!

I just picked up the first Valentino suit from the tailor today. I think I mentioned he's regarded as one of the best in Melbourne and his family have a long tailoring tradition. He said the suit was 'exceptional'. He actually shortened the sleeves from the shoulder - he said it was easy to do because it was so well made. In his opinion, full retail for that quality of suit in Australia would fetch A$2,500! That price bracket is occupied by Zegna, Canali, Brioni, Pal Zileri! He volunteered all of this without me asking what he thought of the suit.
I'm even more impressed now. I'll be in touch in the New Year.

and 57th St., in the heart of NY. I have many designer suits, in fact I
wore an Armani suit today that is a stunner, but no one commented, which
is usual. BUT when I wear your suits, I swear to you, all the Girls in
the office comment about how "nice" I look - not good for a married man
like me, but it feels nice - ;) |

Hi Jeff,
I just wanted to let you know that the tuxedo arrived today -- and I don't think it will need any alterations (besides the hemming).
I'm excited because that's more than I could have hoped for.
Unfortunately, it looks like the event I needed it for will be cancelled (Golden Globes), but I'm sure glad I won't have to scramble for my next event!

I would like to purchase some more from you (perhaps in a slightly different size so that my tailor would not have to make as many alterations). How should we proceed? Do I pick them from your Ebay store listing then send you the Ebay item numbers, as we did this last purchase?
Also, many of your suits are shown with pleated trousers but I like the unpleated type, are unpleated trousers available for most models.

The suit arrived in Houston yesterday, but finally got to my office this
morning. I picked it early today, and I must say, I am very pleased with
the tux.
It will need some minor alterations to take the jacket's waist in a
little bit and to hem the slacks, but other than that, the pant waist
and jacket shoulders and sleeves fit perfect.
The tux is of a very high quality - and a great deal for the price!

| Hey Jeff, I just got my package today and all I can say is WOW. The MV (Marco Valentino) suit fits perfect, my tailor said no alterations needed and the taper is great. Everything about the suit (feel, drape, shoulders etc) are amazing. Thanks for the tie also, its just what I was looking for as far as colors goes, and the mantoni pants are killer. As u can see Iam very happy lol and plan on getting 2 more suits soon. |
