WILL BE SETTLING LOOSE-ENDS WHILE I PACK UP FOR THE MOVE
It's a lot of work closing down a store!!! Boxes are being packed and staged for the 26' U-Haul I'll be driving across the AlCan to our new location in Homer, Alaska :)
The Darkroom Studios presents used traditional film-based equipment as well as new supplies. With the new location will come great new opportunities... stay tuned for exciting new classes, workshops and photo tours in Spring 2010. Thanks, -Brad

- LISTING NOTATIONS: # or Letter following "USED, NEW, VINTAGE..." is my own coding to be sure I ship the correct item. You are bidding on one item, as pictured, unless otherwise noted inthe description. If you notice the photo and description don't match, please inform me and I will correct the listing.
- COMPUTATION: Please use the "Shipping Calculator" located near the bottom of every listing. This is eBay's standard method to display the full and final cost of shipping an individual item. It is usually accurate. My standard practice is to charge actual carrier costs plus a range of 1.00-2.50 depending on the size and fragility of the item as well as materials and labor costs involved in getting your special product out the door.
- COMBINED: I combine items for reduced shipping when possible. Sometimes the system is limited, in which case please inform me of your combined-item intention and I'll make it right for you; this may mean creating a special auction or simply revising the invoice.
- SPEED: I generally ship within 1 Business Day of confirmed payment; often even same-day when paid before 3:00pm (EST/EDT)! I use PayPal shipping whenever possible and you will find your tracking #'s with your payment details. No tracking available on International 1st Class. (Not my rule, USPS rule)
- INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: Be aware that recently some packages have taken 15+ Days to reach their final destination when using USPS 1st Class -- I suggest choosing USPS Priority. There have been times when the shipping calculator doesn't give all options, please message me and I'll find a shipping solution for you.
- ASIAN & SPECIAL CHARACTERS: I am happy to attach an image of your address, as written/typed by you to your package if you supply a .jpg or .pdf --- simply email the attachment with the subject line "eBay Auction Address"
- FRANCE: Choisissez s'il vous plaît l'expédition de Priorité USPS pour garantir rapide, trackable la livraison de votre article. Je ne peux pas être responsable de perdu 1sr le paquet de classe en France. Merci.
- IN-STORE PICK-UP: The Darkroom Studios encourages in-store pick-ups. There is no fee whatsoever for this service. I invite all area customers to check out our rental darkroom and, in the case of "darkroom rental" and "studio rental" auctions, I suggest dropping by for a tour prior to making your purchase.
- AUCTION vs. INVENTORY: I never use Reserve Price. You will usually do better to buy an auction item! There are 3 main reasons you may find a higher price in our inventory than when an item was on auction: 1) eBay charges a higher end fee 2) if an auction failed, I've lost my listing fee, sometimes more than once if it was relisted 3) once it leaves auction I must shelve the item, inventory it for long-term access and find other more immediate sources of income to pay for the next batch of goodies.
- RETURN POLICY: No returns on dated or light-sensitive items unless item not as described; in which case I will refund purchase price plus shipping. All other items also fully refunded if not as described; otherwise 80% of purchase price only is refunded. You must inspect goods upon delivery and refuse delivery if items have been damaged in transit.
- PAYMENT EXPECTATIONS: If you are still shopping, please wait until you are done, I will combine invoices and shipping for you. I understand auction end-times may not go well with paycheck times – my 1st payment reminder goes out 10-days after an auction ends; an official eBay UPI report will be sent 3-5 days later if I don’t hear back from you. I am more flexible with Auction winners… if you “Buy It Now” you should expect to “Pay It Now” as well – please don’t use me as a layaway plan or hold-it-while-I-shop-around guy; this may cost me the sale to someone who has a more immediate need for the item.
