Old Audio Components, Brochures & Magazines are like a Collectible or Antique as they aren't making anymore of this stuff and as time goes by they will only go up in value. I got a lot of grief for saving this stuff and dumped some in the garbage. But then I imagine so did you.
To me the 70s for Audio were like the 60s for Muscle Cars, i.e. the good old days.
Sellers have the right to set their own prices independently, but some manufacturers place restrictions on how these prices will be displayed or communicated to others.
