30 Day Return Policy:
Our 30 day return policy works the same regardless of the reason the item is being returned. All returns must be in the original packaging and in the same condition it was in when you received it. Please see below for details.
7 days – All items should be inspected within 7 days of receiving your order for any discrepancies or damages. If within 7 days of receiving your product if you notice any discrepancies that were caused by our company the items in question can be returned for exchange or a 100% refund. This is in the continental 48 states only.
30 days – Within 30 days of the purchase date you may return any item for any reason for an exchange or a refund. There will be a 15% restocking fee on all Free Shipping orders. This is to help cover the actual outbound shipping that we paid to get the item to you. Simply ship the item back to us for an immediate refund or exchange.
Over 30 days – 31 days and over from the original purchase date you may return any item for any reason for an exchange or refund of the product itself. (The actual outbound shipping paid by Hitches R Us/Pro Hitch will not be refunded which includes free shipping orders). There will also be a 15% restock fee on any returns over 30 days of original purchase date. It must be in the original packaging and in new condition. Refund will be in store credit only. Simply ship the item back to us and we will issue you a credit.
Once the item is received a refund or credit will be issued. For damaged items we will file a claim with the shipping carrier. The shipping carrier will pick up the item from you for an inspection. We do not cover miscellaneous expenses including labor costs for removal and installation of a defective part, materials, lost time or wages.
A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is required for any return. To request a RMA number you may call our Returns Department at (817) 533-3458 Monday through Friday 8 am – 5pm CST. Please have your order number, email address, eBay id, and reason for the return when calling us for the RMA.
Cancel or Change Your Order:
If you need to cancel or change your order please contact us as soon as possible by phone. NOT EMAIL. (817) 533-3458. If you need to cancel your order after it is already been shipped - we will need to work with you to make sure that your order is canceled in our system, UPS is notified, and ensure that you "refuse the shipment" from UPS. Unauthorized refused shipments that we have not been notified of in advance will cause a delay in getting a refund
