Effective May 14, 2007 the United States Postal Service will be raising its shipping rates. This will mean increased shipping costs for First Class Mail, Priority Mail, and International Services. Additionally, UPS increased their rates on January 1, 2007, meaning higher rates for UPS packages as well.

Buyers are responsible for payment of all shipping and handling fees. We are happy to ship your item worldwide. We ship items USPS, UPS or Ground Freight depending on item size and weight. You will find the shipping calculator or a flat fee for shipping located with every listing. Please utilize this function to calculate the exact shipping fee for the item you are interested in. Certain restrictions will apply to some items, all of the applicable shipping options will be listed in the item specifics, please reference that section of the listing to answer your questions about shipping.

Payments are processed in the order in which they are received in our shipping department - most often the day after payment clears. Shipping occurs Monday through Friday excluding all holidays. Frequently, your shipment will go out the day after your payment is received, but will always be processed within 2 business days.

All Orders

• We ship orders within 2 business days after payment has been received.
• Media mail, Domestic & International Air Parcel Post and Air Mail Letter Post are not guaranteed delivery times. Delivery by these methods can be shorter or longer depending on the carrier.
• Busier times of the year will yield longer delivery time for these methods.
• Express Mail and Priority Mail is available during checkout.
• Tracking included with Express Mail on domestic and International shipments.
• Delivery confirmation included on domestic shipments only.

US Ground Shipping Terms

We will make every attempt to ship all items within 2 business days of cleared payment. Orders sent via UPS Ground will automatically generate an email upon shipment that includes your tracking number and estimated delivery. Orders sent by USPS will automatically generate an email with a tracking number upon shipment. For AK, HI, US Territories and APOs: Shipment will be made via USPS Priority Mail. These shipments include delivery confirmation only - insurance is not available. Orders sent via Priority Mail will automatically generate an email upon shipment that includes your tracking number and estimated delivery. Please allow 2-3 business days to arrive.

UPS

• UPS Next Day Air® - Guaranteed overnight delivery to all 50 states and Puerto Rico by 10:30 a.m., 12:00 noon, or end of the next business day depending on destination.
• UPS 2nd Day Air® - Guaranteed delivery to every address in the 50 states (excluding intra-Alaska shipments) and Puerto Rico by the end of the second business day.
• UPS 3 Day Select® - Guaranteed delivery within three business days to and from every address in the 48 contiguous states.
• UPS Ground - Guaranteed day-definite delivery to every address in the U.S. 50 states and Puerto Rico.

USPS

We make every effort to use the fastest method possible that also allows for the most economical cost. You will always find actual shipping costs or a shipping calculator in all of our listings. Just look for the shipping calculator or the actual shipping cost listed in the item listing.

Priority shipping will be available with all applicable listings. Priority Mail is available for all US addresses including PO Boxes and Military addresses. Please allow 2-3 days for delivery via USPS Priority Mail.

USPS Express Mail will be available for your overnight delivery needs. Express Mail will deliver to most US addresses including PO Boxes and Military addresses. Delivery will be by noon or 3:00pm to many destinations.

All items requiring expedited shipping must be paid for before the item will ship. This can be done most quickly by using PayPal, which is Tall Giraffe Traders preferred payment method. USPS Shipping Insurance Rates Insurance is optional and recommended.

International Orders: 

We can not provide any shipping time estimates as each country’s postal system is so different. As a general rule of thumb, expect up to 3 weeks for delivery of your item.

• Delivery for international shipping can be delayed for longer periods of time depending on the customs clearance of your country.
• International orders may have additional Value Added Tax (VAT), duties, and other fees due.  These fees are the responsibility of the buyer and cannot be prepaid.
• True value will be marked on all customs forms for international orders and invoices will be included.

• UPS Standard to Canada - For delivery of shipments to Canada, we offer low-cost, guaranteed ground delivery to most addresses in the 10 provinces.

Upon winning more than one auction or Buy it Now listing on the same day, Tall Giraffe Traders will be happy to combine shipping on orders that will be shipped at the same time. Your discounted amount will vary based on the size of your package(s). Smaller items that can be shipped in one box will be discounted more than multiple package shipments.
