Inventory Questions

Where do you get your inventory?

We love shopping! We go to thrift stores, estate sales, and off-price retailers to find great items to offer you. We also receive donations from people who have cleaned out their closets and have stuff that they just don’t want anymore.

How do you decide how much something should be?

Our pricing is complex. There are lots of factors that go into the sale price of an item including if its new or used, how much we acquired it for, and what the fair market price is on eBay. We also use software that tells us how much similar items have sold for in the past. No matter what, we want to offer you a great price. We take pride in our pricing being affordable and competitive.

How often do you add new inventory?

In the past we have added on a weekly basis, however, going forward we will begin adding inventory twice per month. We will add inventory on the 8th and again on the 22nd of every month. If you want to be notified when new inventory is added, subscribe to our newsletter.

What name brands do you carry the most?

When we are sourcing products, we look for better to moderate brands like Banana Republic, J. Crew, Tahari, Michael Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Lauren Ralph Lauren, etc. We also love finding denim from GAP, Express, Seven for all Mankind, Citizens for Humanity, etc. Occasionally, we will allow what we call “fast fashion” chain brands to be added. These include Zara, H&M, Forever 21, and MNG. Sometimes we find brands we have never heard of and they are added to the inventory because we believe our customers will appreciate quality apparel regardless of the brand name.

Why don’t you sell more shoes?

We have such high standards for our inventory that it is hard to find shoes we would pride ourselves in offering. We have sold shoes in the past, however these shoes are almost always new in the box. We are super busy shopping for you, so the best way to reach us is always through an eBay message. We will respond within 24 hours. On weekends, response times may be longer, never to exceed 48 hours.

How long have you been in business?

Trend Again Boutique started as a hobby in May of 2011. In a few short months, we sold nearly 100 items. That’s when we got serious. It is our hope to continue to grow the store in the years to come and continue to offer brand name clothing at amazing prices.
