Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is your return policy?
A: Returns will be given as Merchandise credit or money back, your choice. Refunds are only given if there is a significant error in the listing. A small restocking fee of 10% will be charged. Shipping and handling is not refundable.
 Q: Do you combine shipping?
A: For small items such as Silver wire or Seeds, we combine S&H at $0.99 for each addition item after the first. For larger items such as Vacuum Sealer Bags or Postal scales, our cost for shipping varies, so we have to calculate the combined shipping discount to get you the best deal. Please wait until you have finished shopping to checkout. Thank You
Q: How do I order longer lengths of wire than what you have listed?
A: On our store items and fixed price listings we include the Make Offer feature for just this situation. Just click the "make offer" button, and type in the number of inches or centimeters you desire. I will accept or make a counter offer - We offer great deals on bulk orders, as we are artists and know how crucial supplies are.
Q: How pure is fine silver?
A: Our Fine Silver is 99.999% silver, and is only available in Dead Soft temper.
 Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes. We recently changed our international s/h. For smaller items, like Silver Wire, it is now 7.99 + 4.20 for required insurance. You now have tracking info, delivery confirmation, and insurance. We have experienced it taking up to 21 business days for some items to arrive in Canada or other overseas locations.
Q: What is the difference between half hard and dead soft wire?
A: Half Hard wire is stiffer and is more resistant to being bent, but it is sturdier making it a better choice for working with a thinner gauge wire. I use Dead Soft wire exclusively in my jewelry work because it is easily bent and molded, holds its shape better, and actually hardens as it it worked.
Q: Why is insurance required for International orders?
A: We require insurance on international orders because we've had overseas orders disappear without a trace or get badly damaged, and it just saves both parties a headache to have a backup plan in place. Follow the "Insurance Pricing and Policy" link on our store header for more information.
Q: What is the purity of your Titanium Wire?
A: Our Titanium wire is an alloy that is 90% Titanium, 6% Aluminum, and 4% Vanadium. It is suited mainly for chain mail projects, but may suffice for scientific or engineering use if ultimate purity is not a requirement.
