Upgrade Computer Memory warrants that
all products are free from defective material and workmanship and, subject to
the conditions set forth below, agrees to repair or replace any part of a
product that proves defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials
without charge for parts and labor.**
To obtain warranty service, you must
first obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by calling us at
888-530-8555.
Specifics: These warranties only apply
to Domestic orders. See
International Shipping Guidelines
for other countries.
All our memory modules are warranted to be free from
electrical or manufacturer defects for the life of the original owner. This
warranty is void and does not apply if the memory module has been modified,
abused or subject to static or electrical charges.
We will provide a replacement for any defective part(s) if notified within 30
days after the delivery tracking shows receipt of the order. Please call
888-530-8555 for a RMA. We will email you a pre-paid return label for return
delivery. Once we have received the product back, we will ship the replacement.
If an up front replacement is needed, a charge card must be provided. We will
create a new order, and credit the old order when the product is received.
After 30 days, all memory has a lifetime warranty through Upgrade Computer
Memory. Lifetime replacements must be returned to Upgrade Computer Memory prior
to us sending the replacement and the return cost of insurance and shipping is
the sole responsibility of the customer. Upgrade Computer Memory will pay for
the return shipping of the replacement and chooses the method of delivery.
Lifetime is defined as the lifetime of the product on the market. Outdated
technology is not covered by lifetime warranty if the item is no longer
available on the common market as a new product.
**Important: Upgrade Computer
Memory is not responsible for damage to equipment, property, program loss or
costs associated with computer or data recovery. Upgrade Computer Memory will
not reimburse consumers for installation or service charges for any reason.
Once the customer begins the process of adding or
replacing Upgrade Computer Memory's product into their equipment, the customer
assumes full liability from that moment. The customer should seek a bonded and
insured professional to insure compensation for an unforeseen loss.

At Upgrade Computer Mmemory,
we'd like to help you exchange or return as quickly and easily as possible.
Provided you meet the terms and conditions listed below, you may make an
exchange or return. We suggest you read the complete returns policy before you
make your purchase.
General
Policies
- Shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Claims of damage, loss or merchandise
shortage must be reported within 24 hours of receipt to be considered valid.
- All exchanges and returns require a
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. *Exchanges and credits cannot
be processed without one.
- A return for credit RMA must be
requested within 30 days of the original invoice date. Thereafter, all sales
are final.
- The returned package must be received
within 10 business days of the RMA issue date.
- Refunds for items purchased using free
shipping will be refunded the item purchase price less original shipping and
handling cost, typically $3 - $15 depending on the shipping method.
- All products are sold with their
respective manufacturer's warranties. Please note that warranty periods and
services vary by manufacturer and product. See complete warranty details on
specific product page.
- When returning products, we strongly
recommend the use of a carrier that can track packages. You also assume
responsibility for insuring the returned item.
- To protect company against abuse, we
reserve the right to charge restocking fees on products that are returned in
less-than-new condition.
- All items must be returned in "as new"
condition in the original packaging and include all accessories, blank
warranty cards, UPC codes (attached), and user manuals.
Return Policy
Exceptions
To ensure the most efficient
processing of your return, please note that sales on certain manufacturers'
products are final. Any products that are exceptions to our standard return
policy will be clearly noted on the item description. Please contact the
manufacturer for repairs or replacements of these items.
All Software
Products
- Unopened software can be exchanged or
returned within 30 days of the invoice date.
- Opened software will not be accepted for
return. This also applies to software included with hardware.
Clearance Items
Returns on clearance items are
accepted within 30 days of the invoice date if the product is damaged or deemed
defective. An RMA must be obtained in order for a clearance return to be
accepted and processed. We cannot exchange clearance products, as the
manufacturer has either discontinued these items or we no longer have them in
stock.

Crediting Your
Account
Credit will be issued within two
business days of receiving your return. All refunds for credit will be issued to
the credit card account that appears on the original invoice. Although you may
not have been charged for shipping on your original order, the actual cost of
the original shipping will be deducted from the amount credited. We will not
refund the original freight charge or the freight charge for the return. Please
send items back in a way that you can track the package. ALL ITEMS NOT RETURNED
IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING IN GOOD CONDITION OR MISSING ITEMS, SUCH AS INSTRUCTIONS,
SOFTWARE ETC. OR DAMAGE TO BOX WILL BE SUBJECT TO A 15% RESTOCKING FEE OR A
$30.00 REPACKAGING FEE. Warranty can vary by product, please see product sale
page for item specific warranty details.
Please note that your financial
institution may take up to 10 additional days from the date we issue the credit
to post it to your actual account. Questions regarding this should be directed
to your financial institution. When returning an item paid for by check or money
order, a refund check will be mailed to you within 10 business days from the
time we receive your return.

Memory RMA Policy:
If the order has been delivered,
a 30-Day money back guarantee is available on all memory products.
Shipping of RMAs:
All RMAs are shipped to the customer by U.S. Postal Service, even if the
original shipment was by an Express Service (Overnight, 2 Day Air, etc.). This
is because Upgrade Computer Memory never charges for replacements and a
credit card is never verified. (This policy is waived if Upgrade Computer
Memory is at fault and mis-shipped your order. An order is not considered to be
mis-shipped if we substitute a faster memory module that is compatible for your
system.)
Products being sent back for replacement:

without a RMA will be returned to the customer. The cost and method of shipping
the product back to us is the sole responsibility of the customer. We recommend
a track-able form of shipping to guarantee your package arrives to us. If a
package is sent without proof of delivery, Upgrade Computer Memory is not
responsible for proving receipt of the package.
Products being sent back for replacement after 30 days:
After 30 days, all memory has a lifetime warranty through Upgrade
Computer Memory. Lifetime replacements must have an RMA issued
