SHIPPING INFO
We ship out all our products within 2 business days (many times same day) of receiving payment. Standard shipping for books shipped within the U.S. is Media Mail or Bound Printed Matter. Patterns are shipped First Class and Magazines are shipped via Bound Printed Matter within the U.S. We use Delivery Confirmation on all shipments (if available). We are happy to combine shipping on most items.

Standard U.S. Shipping Methods
Standard book shipping is via Media Mail or Bound Printed Matter
Typically takes 7-21 business days, but can take longer at times. Shipments to Alaska & Hawaii can take a few weeks sometimes.
Expedited book shipping is via Priority Mail
Typically takes 3-7 business days
Standard Pattern shipping is via First Class Mail/Priority
Typically takes 3-7 business days
Magazines are shipped via Bound Printed Matter
Typically takes 7-21 business days
Please note: These shipping times are from the day we ship, and are guidelines only. We have no control over the package once it is in the Post Offices hands.

NOTE:
- Each item will have the shipping price in the listing.
- Book, magazine, craft booklet and craft pattern lots have different shipping prices, depending on the size, and will be in the listing.
- Large book lots can not be combined, because they are already very large and heavy.l
- I will send you an invoice with the shipping charges combined. If you think you will be shopping for awhile, let me know, so that I don't send the combined invoice too soon.
- Books and patterns can not be combined in the same box, with combined shipping, unless you pay for the books to be shipped priority, because I can not ship the patterns via Media Mail or Bound Printed Matter.

If you are ordering items that are all the same type, with the same shipping price, you can use our chart below to get the shipping price for multiple orders.

If you are ordering different types of items, which have different shipping charges, you are charged the most expensive shipping first, then the additional shipping price for each additional type.
EXAMPLE:
You are ordering
3 books with $3.75 1st book shipping price
& 2 books with the $3.25 shipping price.
You would pay:

+ 1.50 (2nd $3.75 shipping book)

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING INFO
Standard International Shipping Methods
Individual books are shipped Economy (either Economy Letter Post or Book Rate M-Bags, depending on weight of the book), which typically take 4-12 weeks; however, if the book will fit in a Global Priority Mailer, the country accepts Global Priority Mail (not all countries do), and it can be sent for the standard shipping price, we do upgrade the shipping (at no additional charge).
Book & Magazine Lots are shipped by Economy Book Rate M-Bags
Individual Patterns, Craft Booklets and Magazines are shipped via Air Letter Post or Global Priority (if available in destination country) when possible. To some destinations we will have to ship via economy to make it affordable.
Note: Individual books shipped to Canada are usually upgraded to Air Letter Post or Global Priority, if they are not too heavy. See the International Shipping & Handling prices specifically for Canada.
We are happy to ship internationally, however there are a few countries we either can not ship to at all, or the cost makes it prohibitive:
We can not ship to Somalia at all. It is prohibited by the Postal Service.
The following countries only have airmail or airmail m-bag shipping available, making the price quite high (even to ship 1 book):
Guinea-Bissau
Lebanon
Liberia
We also do not ship to the following countries:
Nigeria
Indonesia
Customs:
International orders, including Canadian, may be subject to customs & duties. Buyer is responsible for these fees. A customs form, with the amount paid, will be filled out by Valarie's Volumes.

LOCAL PICKUP
If you are in the Sacramento area, pick up can be arranged for Saturdays & Sundays at Denio's Farmers Market in Roseville, to save on shipping charges. We have 5 permanent covered spaces. Please contact us by Thursday if you will want to pick your order up out there, so that we can take
it out there on Friday when we restock. It is best to pick up your orders by 10:00 AM, because although we are normally open from 7:00am to 3:00pm, there are days we close early, due to weather (We don't get wet or too hot, because our spaces are covered, but no one is out there shopping on days like that).
