SHIPPING
We ship out all our products within 2 business days (many times same day) of receiving payment. Standard shipping for books shipped within the U.S. is Media Mail or Bound Printed Matter. Patterns are shipped First Class and Magazines are shipped via Bound Printed Matter within the U.S. We use Delivery Confirmation on all shipments (if available). Local pickup is also available on the weekends.
LOCAL PICKUP
If you are in the Sacramento area, pick up can be arranged for Saturdays & Sundays at Denio's Farmers Market in Roseville, to save on shipping charges. We have 5 permanent covered spaces. Please contact us by Thursday if you will want to pick your order up out there, so that we can take
it out there on Friday when we restock. It is best to pick up your orders by 10:00 AM, because although we are normally open from 7:00am to 3:00pm, there are days we close early, due to weather (We don't get wet or too hot, because our spaces are covered, but no one is out there shopping on days like that). INSURANCE
Insurance is optional, but highly recommended. Once we deliver your order to the Post Office, we have no control over the package. The price of insurance is quite reasonable, and gives you peace of mind.
PAYMENT
We accept PayPal and U.S. money orders only. Payment is expected within 7 days. If you will be mailing a money order, you must contact us within 3 days to let us know. Please include the item number (you can use the contact seller link from eBay, which will include the item number
automatically). Please mail a copy of the invoice with payment. If payment isn't received within 10 days, a payment reminder is automatically sent. Those that do not pay will be sent to eBay's Dispute Council.
Please do not bid or purchase a Buy it Now item if you do not plan to complete the transaction. At this point we are not blocking any particular categories of buyers, but we are finding that all of our nonpaying buyers have been from those with very low feedback. If it continues, we may be forced to block those with low feedback.
SALES TAX
In California, 8% must be added for sales tax.
FEEDBACK
We leave positive feedback as soon as the transaction is complete. We hope that when you receive your order, and are happy with it, that you will do the same for us. If you have any problems or concerns, please contact us before

RETURNS
Returns are accepted, but you must contact us within 3 days of receiving the order to get return authorization. Please include item number and reason for requesting return. We do not refund any shipping, or pay for return shipping, unless the merchandise is materially different from what was
described or shown in the photos. Refunds (less a 10% restocking fee if we are not at fault) are given once we receive the merchandise back and can verify that it is the same merchandise we shipped out (we use sellers marks which identify our merchandise). If a book is returned "undeliverable" due to incorrect address or returned marked "refused" we will refund for the price of book (no shipping), less a 10% restocking fee. If the Post Office charged us return postage (which sometimes they
do), that will also be subtracted from the amount refunded.

If you are looking for a particular book, we can check our inventory to see if we have it! We have a tremendous amount of stock that is not listed on either eBay or Half.com. If we have the book you are looking for, we can make a private eBay listing for you. Contact us to do a book search.
SPECIALS
INDIVIDUAL BOOK CONDITION GUIDELINES
Like New: Book may have been read, and may have slight cover rubbing from being on the shelf (even new books in bookstores sometimes show a little cover rubbing), but there are no folded pages, writing, tears or spine creases. Book is still clean and crisp. These books look new or "almost new", and in some cases are actually new books that have just gotten a bit of shelf rubbing on the cover from being stored.
Very Good: The book has been read, and may show a little (but not excessive) wear to the cover. If there is any writing, highlighting, or markings, it will be minimal. Page or cover creases, if any, will be minimal.
Good: The cover may show some obvious use, such as small tears, creasing or discoloration, but the text remains intact. There may be some writing or highlighting or marks on the text pages or cover. Some pages may have yellowing due to age.
Fair: These books have been well read. They are "reader copies" only. They may not look very pretty. There may be considerable writing, highlighting, tears, creasing or stains, but they are still readable.
Poor: Typically, we will not sell books that are in this bad of condition; however in the case of a rare, hard to find book, on occasion, we will make it available for sale. These books are pretty ugly, but can still be read.
BOOK LOT CONDITION GUIDELINES
Book lots can have books in the full spectrum of conditions. Usually, most will be in the Good & Very Good range.
