Where do you get your printers to refurbish?
Valstar Printers works directly with many of the printer manufacturers and printer dealers. Most of our printers are de-installs from a working environment. These de-installs could be the result of an end of a printer leasing agreement or a decsion to purchase all new printers for a company or department.
What's the page count on the printer?
We carry many printers in most models with varying page counts. Typically page counts range anywhere from 30,000-90,000. Without pulling a specific printer it's hard to give you an exact page count. Know that each printer is carefully refurbished with all high-wear parts replaced and new maintenance kits installed. By industry standards, the machine is brought back to almost new condition. In essence, the page count is virtually '0' again. Most of our printers will come with a 1 Year Warranty that is often better than the original manufacturer's warranty. This allows you to buy with confidence.
Who refurbishes your printers?
We take these printers and completely refurbish them in-house by our industry-trained technicians. Our experienced technicians follow a 23-Step Refurbishing Process that brings the printers to like-new condition and performance. Know that each printer is carefully refurbished with all high-wear parts replaced and new maintenance kits installed.
How does the warranty work?
Like our refurbishing, we provide the warranty on all our printers in-house. If something goes wrong with your printer, under normal use, during the warranty period, return the printer to us (at your cost) and we will repair or replace the printer (at our discretion) and ship the printer back to you (at our cost).
What are your warranty conditions?
All Valstar warranties are limited to specific time periods from the date of original invoice. In general, the applicable warranty periods for various Valstar products are:
Desktop Monochrome Laser Printer 1 Year
Color Laser Printer 90 Days
Multifunction Printer 90 Days
High-duty Cycle Monochrome 90 Days
Parts & Accessories 90 Days
During the first 30 days, if a product is found defective on arrival (DOA), Valstar will pay for the ground shipping costs to send the customer either a replaced unit or a replacement part to fix the unit, at our option. After 30 days and until the end of the warranty period, transportation costs to return an item will be the responsiblity of the buyer.
How do I send my printer in for warranty work?

Call our office at 1-877-250-5625 BEFORE sending any printer back for warranty work. You will be provided a RMA # that is necessary to process your warranty.
