RETURN POLICY
 
CHECK YOU PARTS
Please check your parts for quality and fit as soon as you receive them because we do not accept returns of any kind for any reasons after parts have been in the customer’s possession past 30 days. We strongly feel that 30 days provides the customer with more than ample time to inspect parts for quality and fit.
 

CALL FOR RMA
If within 30 days of receipt you find a part defective or not as ordered please call us and we will issue an RMA (Return Materials Authorization) number to you. This number must be written on the return form included with your original invoice. The return form then needs to be completed in its entirety and packaged with the part being returned. Ship the package per the instructions on the return form. Sorry, we do not cover the cost of freight back to us under any circumstances. Once we receive the return it will be inspected and resolution will be determined.

A. If our inspection determines that the part is either defective or not as ordered we will ship (free of charge UPS Ground Only) you a functioning correct replacement if available. If replacement is not available we will refund your money for the part and associated freight. We only refund freight at UPS Ground rates.

B. If our inspection determines that the part is not defective or is as ordered per the information provided to us at time of order a 20% restocking fee will be charged against any refund requested. Associated freight in this case will not be refunded. If the customer is able to furnish us with new and more accurate information concerning their requirement, and if the correct replacement is available, we can provide it but any additional costs in parts and freight will be the responsibility of the customer. In this case the 20% restocking fee will be waived.

C. If our inspection determines that a returned part was altered or damaged in any way by the customer there will be no possibility of refund. Damage resulting from mishandling, attempted installation, and inadequate return packaging all apply. Digital pictures will be taken for our records and the part will be mailed back to the customer.

D. If we receive parts back from a customer without a completed return form and RMA they will be returned to sender.

 
 
CLAIMS
Any claims for damage or loss incurred while an order was in transit from Vintage Auto Parts to the customer need to be filed with the freight forwarder by the customer.

CORE RETURNS
All Core Returns require a completed return form but not an RMA. Freight costs associated with core returns is the responsibility of the customer. All cores are subject to our inspection and the associated refund to our approval. Cores are not eligible for refund if they have been returned past 30 days of associated invoice date, if they have been disassembled, if they are incomplete or broken, and if they can not be remanufactured to our standards due to excessive wear or corrosion.

SPECIAL ORDERS
Absolutely no returns on special orders. Special orders are not stocking items or out of house services that require our purchase.
