I worked as a creating watercolorist, along with my jewelry design and fabrication from 1981 through 1985, to augment my creative outlets, since caring for my two youngest children made working with metals almost impossible. I created more than fifty abstract paintings and was featured in several well known New England Galleries with both jewelry and my paintings.

I plan to continue with my free style art in creating works in vintage fabric and design. I offer unique fashion coordination in the creation of classic and unique vintage and fine retro ensembles. I will continue to use my graphic and artistic abilities in my unusual and careful vintage presentation for your enjoyment.

This creation in sterling and shell is circa 1975, and is out there somewhere, hopefully being loved by someone special. I created a line of one-of-a-kind necklaces, pins, chains, rings and bracelets in sterling silver and gold from 1972 through 1986. My jewelry collections were featured in over thirty prestigious galleries in fifteen states from New England to Florida, to Colorado and Minnesota. For a full fifteen years of that time I worked professionally, making my living at my craft.

Here also, I plan to bring my artistic abilities, once used in my jewelry creations, to light in my continued up-grading of fine and eclectic vintage fashion coordination and presentations in Vintage Lucy .

Here we have a love of my life and a somewhat lost art, hand engraving. It took me years and years to perfect this technique, using my self-sharpened gravers tools. This little beauty is a fully hand wrought evening pendant in sterling with gold inlay and riveting, an image of beautiful facial femininity, which somehow appealed to me in a time when that look was being so denigrated by feminism. It was said of me then, that I was not a feminist, except by nature, as I went on with my work as a human and saw no restrictions and spent no time thinking on my life and how it was impacted (or not) by sexism. I was just too busy creating to contemplate such! I used the feminine image in much of my work, as I love the female form. In addition to the many face engravings, there was a series of engraved abstract pins of the nude female figure, wide bracelets engraved with same, and three dimensional carved female nudes in pins, bracelets and rings.

I plan to continue artistically presenting the female form, clothed in unusual and classic vintage and hand created retro fashion pieces.
