What is the benefit of purchasing a loose diamond? How do I set it?
In most diamond jewelry, the loose diamond is about 90% of the cost. The setting (design and material) and the cost of labor are usually the small part of the price. Buying the loose diamond separately lets you concentrate on the major part of your investment, optimize your budget, easily compare specs and make sure you don't overpay.
After you have your diamond, setting it is very easy. You can choose a setting at any of your local jewelers. They will gladly set the diamond for you. Since the setting is usually a very small part of the final cost, you've already done the majority of the saving.
For your convenience, we will also be happy to set the diamond for you. We have a beautiful ring collection. If you find a setting you like, we will set the loose diamond for you and send you a complete ring. Please visit our ring collection store page to see the available settings.
How fast is your shipping, when can I expect my diamond?
We offer free worldwide expedited shipping in almost all our listings. This expedited shipping is fast - FedEx Express or UPS Express. If your delivery address is in the continental US, shipping will normally take 2 business days or less. If your delivery address is in Europe or Australia, shipping is expected to take 3-5 business days.
Each diamond is carefully inspected prior to shipping to make sure you receive an item of the highest quality. Our expedited shipping is also secure. The item is fully insured and arrives with a delivery person to your door. Our external packaging is also very discrete to ensure your privacy.
Do you ship to all countries?
We ship to most countries (US, Canada, Europe, Australia and such). We also usually offer free expedited shipping worldwide.
In some cases, we are unable to ship to some countries due to insurance reasons (our insurance will not cover specific destinations like some African countries). If you're unsure regarding your country, please contact us in advance.
Who certifies your diamonds?
Our diamonds default certified lab is DGI-LABS. To read more about DGI please refer to http://dgi-labs.com. We have chosen to use DGI as our preferred lab, since DGI offers reliable and consistent grading results. As part of the certification with DGI, the diamond is laser-inscribed on its girdle, with the DGI certificate number, in order to bind the certificate to the certificate. In addition, every DGI certificate is provided along with the appraisal documentation for the diamond which can be used for insurance purposes. For your information, DGI is able to offer a jewelry certification.
Can I get a GIA/EGL certificate?
GIA labs do not certificate clarity-enhanced diamonds. Yes you can get EGL International certification, the price is 100$ per carat.
Is this an actual photo of the diamond in the listing?
Some of our listings contain stock photos of diamonds since we are not able to photograph each one upfront. If a listing does include an actual photo or actual video of the diamond, this will be clearly marked near the photo.
If you want to see an actual photo/video of the diamond you're interested in, please contact us. We will take the diamond and send it to a professional studio to be photographed under magnification. This should take no longer than a couple of hours.
Are there any further taxes or fees to be paid after my purchase?
There are absolutely NO additional taxes or fees for buyers located in the USA. The price you see in the listing, is the total price you will pay. There is no sales tax and of course no customs fees.
Buyers located outside the US, may be subject to additional VAT/customs fees. This depends on the import regulations of your country. In any case, we will do our best to mark the package according to your instructions to make sure it passes smoothly through customs. We have a lot of experience with overseas customers.
How can I be sure that I'll be 100% satisfied with my purchase?
First, we have a no questions asked return policy. If you aren't 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can always return for a full refund. Secondly, take a look at our great feedbacks. Customer satisfaction is the most important part of our business and we give every single customer very personal care and attention.
In addition, always keep in mind that you're fully protected both by eBay and PayPal. Full buyer protection by eBay means that eBay covers the entire purchase cost, giving you complete peace of mind.
I can't the find the diamond I want in your inventory. Can you still help?
It is not common to find a direct channel of communication to a diamond manufacturer located inside the diamond exchange. Feel free to use it! Let us know the specifications of the diamond you're looking for. Our unique location inside the diamond exchange exposes us to countless stock. It usually takes us a couple of days to find the diamond you want and upload its listing to eBay for you to purchase.
Where are your diamonds sourced from? Can I be sure they are conflict free?
Since we are diamond manufacturers, we have locations in the major diamond exchanges of the world (like New York, Israel, Belgium). Our diamonds arrive from these diamond hubs which are government regulated. In all cases, the rough diamond material is always mined in conflict-free mines according to the Kimberly act. As a policy, we do not deal with diamonds whose source fails to comply with the Kimberly act.
What are clarity enhanced diamonds?
Clarity enhanced diamonds require a high level of expertise. These are natural diamonds mined from the earth. After the diamond is cut and polished, it undergoes another special treatment which surgically removes some of the visible inclusions. This treatment can only be given to about 1 in 500 diamonds. It allows you to receive a very high clarity diamond for only a fraction of the price of an untreated counterpart.
For more information regarding clarity enhanced diamonds, please visit our ebay store page dedicated to this subject.
Are your diamonds clarity enhanced?
Some of the diamonds we trade are clarity enhanced. If the diamond is enhanced, it is always labeled explicitly both in the listing description and the diamond certificate. Please note that it is illegal for a gemological laboratory to issue a certificate without disclosing all of the enhancement details.
Why are your diamonds so much cheaper than in retail stores?
There are several factors leading to our extremely competitive prices. The first is the fact that we are originally a wholesale seller. Our traditional customers are large scale diamond dealers and jewelers. Using eBay, we are able to extend our reach to private consumers as well, and have them enjoy our low wholesale margins. The second reason is the fact that we are diamond manufacturers. Most retailers buy their diamond inventory from diamond dealers. We are the ones who sell to those diamond dealers, since we manufacture diamonds ourselves. The third reason is our unique position in the large diamond exchanges of the world, which are of course the source for diamond trade.
