Greetings Mes Amies, I am known as Mambo Belle
I am a lifelong
Practitioner of the ancient and POWERFUL ART OF VOODOO HOODOO! I am a
Voodoo High Priestess, a 'Mambo'. I learned from my mother, who learned
from hers, who learned from hers...Five generations back to the Slaves,
to Haiti, and to before in our African homeland! My Grandmother was a
powerful Vodou(VooDoo) Priestess, one of the Voodoo Queens of Old New
Orleans in the 1800's. She was descended from the Free Coloreds, called a
Quadroon, meaning she was a mix of African Slave blood and French
Creole. From her and from my Mother I have learned my Craft! A craft I
have practiced for many, many years, for my entire life! I lived and
practiced in Louisiana, mainly in New Orleans for much of my life only
leaving after the hurricane devastated my home.
My Magie is
old Magique, powerful Magique! I call upon the Loa and the ancestor
spirits to weave the spells I work. I call upon Bon Dieu (God), les
Esprits des Ancêtres (Ancestral Spirits), les Saints (the Saints), and
les Esprits (the Spirits). This is Real Voodoo, Genuine and True Magick!
I am Mambo Belle, Voodoo High Priestess not a dabbler in pretend magic
games! I work Powerful African, Haitian, and Louisianan Folk Magick,
Rootwork, Hoodoo and Voodoo of the most powerful types.

Queen of New Orleans Voodoo
Today, a significant percent of the population
of New Orleans believe in the powers of and partake in various Voodoo rituals and spell workings. Voodoo is a religion or belief
that gives
power to those that were once powerless and it is much loved in the South. It is practiced after Church on Sundays, in a myriad of shops large and small, in private homes and on private altars everyday.
Voodoo is a practice of love and service, though it can be tempered with darker things like revenge and curses. It depends on which Loa are called and on whether the Mambo (priestess) or Houngan (priest) practice one or both 'hands', Light, Dark or Black Magic. It is the Houngan/Mambos role to preserve and practice the rituals, spell workings and songs and to maintain the relationship between the Spirits and the community as a whole.
In Voodoo requests are made via rituals or 'travails' by the Mambo or Houngan on behalf of individuals seeking, love, justice, money, beauty, relief, revenge, health, etc... These rituals or spell workings, call on the Ancestral Spirits, the Loa and Bon Dieu to grant these requests. Voodoo is POWERFUL and it is REAL!It can grant great boons and gifts to those who desire and have faith.
