General Listing Sequence
Some items I list directly to the WVTools Ebay Store. Some items I list as an Ebay Auction and then transfer to my Ebay Store. In general, the opening bid as an auction will be lower than the fixed price that I list when I transfer to the store. After 3 months as a Buy It Now item, I will generally add the Make an Offer feature to items over 10.00. After 3 months as a MAO item, I may either delete the listing and transfer the item to one of my antique mall booths, place the item on sale, or reduce the price and keep it listed on Ebay.
General Offer Information
In general, I will not accept offers lower than 50% of the Buy It Now price. I generally accept offers in the 10 to 30% off range. I am more likely to accept offers in the 30 to 50% off range if the offer is on several items. I also prefer offers for items less than $10.00 to be for a group of items.
Listing Schedule Information
I now have over 1800 items in my Ebay store. I have acquired a large quantity of quality tools over the summer, and I will be listings them throughout the fall and winter.
My inventory focus the remainder of the year will be on increasing the number of store items by 100 per month, as well as gradually increasing the quality of items listed.
Guarantee Information
All items come with a 100% satisfaction money back guarantee return policy. Because I tend to grade my items conservatively, returns have been low. So, for now, I am most often able to offer full money back including all shipping costs (outbound & return). On large, heavy items, or those with high overseas shipping costs, we will have to work out a mutally agreeable resolution.
Full money back guarantee is contingent on buyer reading the listing, including links to description and photos. I have had several recent customers buy items only by looking at the cover page photo and title. |
