I usually do not buy items like this as one never really knows how old it is but after reviewing the sellers store took a chance. Upon arrival and with close examination conclude that this bowel fairly old and believe the seller in his comments concerning the item. Hopefully upon my demise my family will appreciate what I believe is a fairly "old" hand made burl wood bowl with old repair. Thank you
